Every four years or so, I try to do a personal makeover. Sadly, for me, I missed about 8 years so I am trying to make up for lost time. I do this for a number of reasons: personal challenge, self-satisfaction and pride in myself, not wanting to be socially invisible, already took care of the intellectual make-over. Included in this personal makeover is trying out the new devices on the market which, to me, is educational as well as in keeping with my makeover goals. One of those new tools is the Numiere Time Keeper Face Mask which uses LED therapy to help with a variety of facial skin issues. Everything needed to use the mask is included in the box, all nicely packaged. Included is the mask itself with the embedded LEDs, charging cable, rechargeable portable power source for the mask, User Manual, and a Quick Start Guide. Included among the literature are Precautions and Warnings. very helpful and should be read carefully. The mask is very lightweight, adjustable with velcro-type fasteners for a good fit, and comfortable to wear. It is also very easy to clean. After use, I lightly soak an cotton pad with alcohol and swipe it across the inside of the mask. The controller is recharged using the included charging cable. Ensure that the controller is not attached to the mask, then simply attach the controller to the charging cable and plug into a power source (USB charging block not included). The controller will indicate charging progress. Disconnect from power source when charging is complete. Attach the controller to the mask with its attached cable and it is ready to work. Use the controller to choose LED functions, timer, and NIR function. When the chosen cycle/s is finished, the mask automatically shuts off. Using the mask is completely portable; sometimes I do very light chores but most of the time I lounge, completely relaxing while the mask does its work. I have been using it for a few days which really isn't long enough for a fair trial. I will note that I have noticed that a few very small dark spots (hyperpigmentation) on the side of my face are slowly lightening. I have been applying solutions to help fade those spots but I believe the fading has been jump started with the addition of using this mask. The User Manual indicates that the Mask should be used 3-5 days a week for a minimum of 4 weeks to achieve optimal results. That is a time commitment, for sure; however, the mask is very well designed for ease of use, to make using it that often not at all cumbersome and very possible to use as prescribed. I am very pleased with this mask. It is well designed, easy to use, portable, easy to clean, and performs as promised. So far, the results look promising and I look forward to seeing more positive results as time goes by. Read more

My skin is really damaged from growing up on Southwest Florida coast in the '60s and '70s. I have really noticed an increase in the wrinkles around my mouth and overall dulling and lack of tone in my face, so I thought I would give this LED mask a try and see if maybe it might help. I've used it for about two weeks now, so not long enough to see dramatic results, but I can definitely say that it seems to have an impact on my skin. I use it in the red light with NIR and have worked my way up to 20 minutes. The eye cups are great. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to put them in properly, but I made it more complicated than it was. It is easy to adjust the straps and it goes on your face and stays put. I have been using it right after cleaning my face and then following the light treatment with my usual serums, moisturizers, sunscreen, etc. My only concern is that in some things I've read, red light therapy may cause hyperpigmentation to darken, and I do have some sun spots on my face that I would not like to have any darker. I'll just monitor that and see how it goes. My daughter is coming to visit for the weekend and I'll let her use it and see what she thinks of it too. Overall, though, for the price point, I think this is a good product and worth a try if you want to see if led light therapy will work for your skin concerns. Read more

This mask is very easy to use and easily figured out the settings. I have been using this on and off the last few months and have noticed my complexion looks brighter. I’ve been using it at night and the next morning my skin always looks clearer and feels smoother. I mostly use the red light setting and only for the 10 minutes and so far very happy with the results. I was surprised how lightweight the mask was and also how easy it is to store. Overall I am very happy with this mask and enjoy the ability for self-care at home. Read more

I am getting older and have started to focus on my skin care routine. I have heard great things about LED face masks and how they help prevent wrinkles so I wanted to give one a try. The Time Keeper LED Face Mask comes with a remote, the necessary cords and silicone eye inserts. The mask is easy to use and I really like that it allows hands free use. Putting the mask on could not be easier. You place Time Keeper LED Face Mask on your face and attach the back straps together via Velcro. You can make the mask as tight or as loose as you want. The Time Keeper LED Face Mask is very flexible as well so it can fit a large variety of face shapes. The mask is made of a rubber material and is very lightweight. The remote that controls the mask is sleek and easy to use. The user can choose between red or blue lights. In addition to that NIR can be selected to add to either light color. NIR lights are near-infrared lights that are supposed to penetrate deeper into the body rather than just the skin’s surface. There are also 3 timers settings and 3 brightness levels to adjust to your preference. I like to use my Time Keeper LED Face Mask for 20 minutes at a time 3-4 times a week. While I do like this mask I have a few issues with it. The company states that it’s ok to use the Time Keeper LED Face Mask with skincare products like serum. LED masks should be used with a freshly cleaned face without any product residue. Secondly, this mask does not have nearly as many LEDs as other masks that I have seen. The more LEDs the more effective the mask. I have not been using this mask long enough to see amazing results but I have noticed that my skin appears slightly less red when using the mask consistently. At this price point I would like to see slightly more dramatic results. Read more
