Overall, this is an amazing leather bag for the price! Unlike some of the cheaper, Chinese-made leather bags being sold on Amazon, the quality here is like night-and-day. The leather on this bag is thick, supple, and gives off a fantastic aroma! It compares very favorably to boutique bags costing 2X-3X more. The backpack is big enough to hold even some larger 17" laptops. The only downside is that I wish the 2 side pockets were big enough to hold water bottles. Also note that since this is a quality leather bag, it will be a bit bulky and heavy and potential buyers should be aware of that. Read more

I liked this bag. I really liked this bag. With the material and price point, I believed I was making a one time, sustainable purchase that would last for years to come. I envisioned this backpack developing a rich patina and canvas of scuffs, scars, and marks creating a piece of functional art over years of travel and work and everything in between. Sadly, after using this bag almost every day for just six months, one of the seams for the straps has ripped causing the leather to rip over time as well. I have reached out to Time Resistance on multiple occasions asking for assistance and have yet to receive any sort of reply. Again, at this price point with these materials and the promise of a one year warranty, I’m saddened that this company is choosing not to adhere to their own policies. First, I would like to make known the broken lock review is wrong. I know it seems a bit cheaply made on the lock side and its security. But, I think twisting a little key right or left to lock unlock works well enough. Also, I would make certain the lock is engaged due to it being hard to tell. I noticed that it looked in a slightly higher position locked. I would put a lot for the made in Italy on this bag. I have bags that cost thousands of dollars, and I compared this one and the leather looks very similar. I will say the overall quality and fit/finish of the more expensive looks of higher quality. But, I would also point out it is mostly more expensive and higher quality leather with leather lining too versus cotton. I am certain this bag and the more expensive ones will both out-live me, so I would buy it if you want a good deal on a nice bag for $300 that looks a lot nicer than more expensive ones made in sweat shops.
