These timers are priced at a premium compared to other timers. We assumed the quality would match by the price. A few weeks ago we bought 3 timers of different sizes from this company. The plastic stand mechanism on the large timer is poorly made and kept falling off. Finally, today, one of the stand pieces simply broke. It now cannot stand, making it practically useless. This is a staple in my classroom. It helps students to know how much longer until a transition, but truthfully, it keeps me on time as well.
