The product smelled so bad I could barely stand it and then when I put it on it felt like all the moisture had been sucked out of my skin...which is not what you want from a product that is supposed to be a moisturizer. Ended up just throwing it away. Read more

I did not buy this through amazon so I am not a "verified customer" (I ordered directly through Christina's official website). But I wanted to post a review here so others could know that this small, one-woman owned company is a really a pleasure to do business with. Christina personally handled a skin tone issue I had promptly and gracefully despite my contacting her during a family emergency she had with her grandchild being born. And I am sure she was also juggling countless other customers at the time as well. I'm not an expert on foundation so I can't really post very helpful info on the actual product except that I REALLY appreciate it having cleaner ingredients than most makeup. I'm having a bit of difficulty with it appearing chalky/flaky on my face despite my studious exfoliating and moisturizing prior to application. I don't have dry skin but perhaps because it is mineral based and does not contact synthetic plastic/petrolium-sourced emulsifiers, it tends to flake if you try to rub it in. I am fair so I ordered the Medium Cool but it was too blue-pink toned (made me look like a zombie and I AM naturally pretty white!) and the Medium Neutral is warmer, more yellow/natural-toned although the difference is almost imperceptable. If you are pale, I would order a darker tone than you think you'll need. It may cut down on the White Zink Sunscreen-Face Effect. Also I want to add: this comes in a nice, solid glass bottle. I accidentally dropped it on my tile floor and it didn't crack, which was nice! Another positive is: it doesn't smell at all. I would give this 5 stars because it wins in price and ingredients over all the other natural products I looked at on amazon. But I'm knocking off a star because I just can't seem to counter the flaky made-up look it causes even though I've followed all the makeup tutorial suggestions for mineral makeup application. But I'm very inexperienced so....I would honestly say: if you keep coming back to this after slogging through all the other options on amazon, purchase this! You probably will be very happy with it. I love this tinted moisturizer! At first, I was worried it was not the right color and a little hard to apply, but it turned out to be perfect. I have dry skin, so I mix a little with my rose hip seed oil, and it gives me a fresh face look that I love. Will be ordering more in the future. :) Read more

It comes with very little product. The bottle comes pretty much empty. The foundation comes off easily and had to keep reapplying it throughout the day. It is not great coverage but build able and a little sticky. I would not buy this again. Read more

I think this tinted moisturizer is absolutely amazing! It is this way for many different reasons: 1. Most tinted moisturizers provide minimal coverage- just enough to even out the skin tone. But, this tinted moisturizer provides excellent coverage! 2. I use this this tinted moisturizer as a foundation it works so well 3. It is very lightweight- this feels like nothing is on your skin 4. The tinted moisturizer has a liquid to powder finish so your face isn't left shiny or looking oily. 5. When I use foundations and products like that, my face is a little dried out and tends to break out the next day. Using this tinted moisturizer asa foundation leaves my face silky smooth and acne free as well as healthy! 6. I love the look of this product on my skin- the perfect color match and it doesn't look cakey or fake like some products do The only reason I did not give this product a 5 star review was because of the smell of the product. Apparently the natural oils in the product give it a different smell than most beauty products. I couldn't put my finger on what it smelled like, but I did not like it so I added a couple drops of my favorite essential oil as a quick fix. This tinted moisturizer was awesome and currently my new foundation! I would recommend this product to anybody that is looking for an natural alternative solution to a typical tinted moisturizer/foundation or to anybody looking to try something new! I have been using this foundation for almost a year now and I have to say it's the best I have ever used, my skin blemishes and acne are 100% better, my skin all together looks so much healthier compared to me using the store bought that always caused skin irritation and acne.
