First off, I can't and won't make any medical claims for this tea. I like the way it tastes, but I am not in any position to cite benefits of any sort. One thing I will say is that when opening the packet, there is a waft of dust, which means that the bag is not filled with all leaves and/or solid bits of botanicals.
