I received this sweater and was so excited to get it lit up! I put the batteries in and turned the switch on and nothing happened. What? Why?! I tried another set of batteries thinking the ones that came with it were bad. Nope! Still no lights. I went to do a return and found that a replacement would not be here on time. So I troubleshot and read about the sweater. I read that the battery back is completely removable. So my thoughts were to see how they are connected. BINGO! The battery pack was not connected to the lights. It had been pulled apart. I worked the ends of the 2 cords out of the little side stitch, connected the connectors and bam! Beautiful bright lights!! YAY!! This sweater is so awesome! It’s very cozy and soft. Well made! I’m so glad it’s not defective like I had originally thought. I hope this helps anyone else that has this problem. LOVE this sweater. I am NOT going to call it an ugly sweater which is the common term for decorative Chrustmas sweaters because this one is very cool design, flattering, and damned fun to wear. I get lots of compliments! It has Very bright lights as advertised and lots of motion.,,, uses 2 AA batteries which work much better than button batteries used in most led sweaters. The sweater is beautiful. Before removing the tags, I checked to make sure the lights worked once it arrived and checked again once I put it on two days later. The lights stopped working less than four hours after I wore it. The tag stated that once the tags were removed, you could not return the sweater. Given the price, I an extremely disappointed.
