Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor Battery and 12V DC Air Pump for Car Tires 150PSI Cordless Electric Bike

I bought this air inflator based on its design, features, and reviews. I am very pleased with this product as it worked very effectively, exactly as advertised. Specifically, I inflated four tires on my BMW with a full battery charge on the inflator. Each tire on the car was measured by this inflator to be 4/5 psi less than the required inflation on the car, which is 32 psi for the front tires and 38 psi for the rear tires. Here are my experiences/impressions: First, the build quality of this inflator is very good. The body material is high quality and sturdy, and the product looks very sleek. This itself indicates that the product has been built with quality in mind. Second, I wanted to buy a tire inflator which had the option of a battery so I can use it for inflating my bike tires without having the need to connect the inflator to the 12V lighter outlet on a car (you don't always have a car nearby when you are biking!). However, I also wanted to have the flexibility of using the car battery for inflation just in case the battery on this inflator is out. This inflator provides both options, which I love! Third, the inflation tube is well designed and screws on to the body of the inflator easily. The valve on the other end is also high quality and attaches to the valve stem on the tire without any difficulty. When the tires inflates to the set value, which you can customize, the valve detaches very easily without the tire losing any inflation in the process as sometimes happens with other valves when being taken off the valve stem on the tires. Fourth, I was pleasantly surprised with the low level of noise on this inflator as I was expecting a much higher noise based on my past experience with another inflator. Fifth, this inflator inflated the first two tires with ease and very quickly and took just over a minute on the other two tires. In hindsight, I should have recorded the exact amount of inflation needed on each tire, but I did not. It is possible that the last two tires I inflated needed more inflation. Regardless, the inflator did its job with ease. Sixth, after inflating four tires, I still had two out of three bars showing on the battery charge indicator on the unit. Seventh, the inflator did not get overly hot even after inflating four tires, which is what the previous one I used did. Eighth, I definitely needed a carry bag to carry the unit with the inflation tube and the other accessories with me. This product comes with a high quality carrying bag which efficiently stores the unit and all attachments in it. I am not sure why another reviewer noted that this product doesn't come with a carry bag. It does. Finally, I have used this product twice so far, once to inflate my car tires and the other time to inflate my bike tires. The media could not be loaded. This little tire inflator is perfect! The one I had didn't tell me the measurement of where the tires were at, this one does. That alone makes all the difference to me, plus it is very easy to use. It is small so it is convenient to store in the car, and has a flash light and a red SOS light for protection if you are on the side of the road and it is dark. You program to what level you want to inflate and it stops when it reaches it. It is slower than going to a tires shop but it works well and precisely. And it is for bicycles, balls and other things as well, as it has the adaptors for it. I think it is a really good thing to have. Oh and almost forgot, that can be used as a battery bank too. My car many times gives me the tire indicator and it was always painful to see which and how low, this inflator took away all the stress. I can easily see which tire it is and fix it on the spot! I just opened this and tested it. I'm in love. This is a very easy to use, precise, capable unit with pretty much every feature I can think of for a small, portable inflator to have. Of course, it could be smaller, and lighter, but hey - I'm not an engineer - I don't know if it is realistic to wish it were smaller and lighter. I normally curse at the term "intuitive use", as that is almost always a 2 word lie, but this unit definitely embodies that term. I didn't have to read the manual (but hey, I'm a guy, so who reads manuals anyway, right?). It came with a partial charge that was sufficient to air up a motorcycle tire. It aired the tire up quickly, and automatically shut off at the preselected pressure. It isn't real loud, either. Back story, if you've read this far - I recently went on an extended motorcycle ride. I take good care of my stuff, and when I noticed that the front tire was 2 lbs too low on the TPMS, I decided to stop in at a large truck stop to air it up. That was perhaps the biggest mistake of the entire trip. Without burdening Amazon's servers with the rest of the nightmare that took almost an hour to resolve, I decided as soon as I got home to buy a portable inflator. Works really well but gets hot fast. It gets hot enough where you can't touch the unit. The great thing is, it will turn off automatically once it overheats. I waited about 10-15 minutes for it to cool down before I could continue. Takes about 3-4 minutes to fill each SUV tire. If you're in a pinch it would suck having to wait for the unit to cool before you can continue. Read more

I like how it car run off of the rechargeable battery, so you do not need to worry about tethering it to your car's power outlet. Also this is great for inflating bicycles or other inflatables as you do not to have a car outlet around to use it. If you run out of charge, you can use the car's power outlet. This is a great backup in case you need it. The inflation speed is good for such a small device. It took about 3 minutes to inflate my car's tire from 36 PSI to the recommended 44 PSI. This is higher pressure than the average car and it probably took longer for the device to work at that pressure. Inflating the tire mentioned above took the battery charge down by one bar from the full charge. The battery should last to inflate all 4 tires. The inflator did not get too hot from usage like my other inflators do. As a bonus, the device has an LED light so it can work as a flashlight. This has a blinking red light mode for emergencies. So far so good. Unit charged up 100% overnight and worked as advertised in the morning. Unit allows you to select the air pressure you want and then shuts off. Takes a little practice to get the hang of which button to hold down to make the flashing red light to shut off. GREAT UNIT. GREAT BUY ! Read more
