This is the first shade I bought and is slightly lighter for me in the summer. I’ve been using the TIRTIR Mask Fit AI Filter Cushion Foundation in 24W Soft Beige for a little while now, and honestly, I was really curious if it would live up to all the hype. Here’s how it worked for me: ✨ First Impressions When I first opened the compact, I loved how sleek and sturdy it felt. The puff is soft and makes application so easy — just a few taps and it blended right into my skin. I don’t like foundations that feel heavy, so I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight this cushion is, even though it gives good coverage. 🖌️ Application & Finish On my skin, one thin layer was enough to even out redness and little blemishes, but when I had a breakout, I tapped on a second layer and it still looked natural (not cakey at all!). The finish is really pretty — it’s semi-matte but still has a soft glow that makes my skin look healthy. I like that it doesn’t give that flat “mask” look some foundations can. ⏳ Wear Test The first time I wore it was on a busy workday, and I honestly forgot I had foundation on. It stayed smooth for about 8–9 hours without separating, even around my T-zone where I usually get shiny. By the end of the day, I did notice a little fading around my nose, but nothing major — a quick touch-up fixed it right away. I wouldn’t say it’s a true “72-hour” foundation like the brand claims (who really wears makeup that long anyway?), but it definitely lasts all day for me. 💧 Skin Type Notes My skin is on the combination side — oily in the T-zone, drier on my cheeks. This foundation works really well on my oily areas, but I did notice it clings a little if I don’t moisturize my dry patches properly. My shade is 21C which for some reason is only $10 for the full size compact. So I bought 3, which will hold me for a while. Love this cushion foundation so much. I don’t use enough to get super full coverage but it transforms my good skin into perfect skin. Every time I wear it I get so many compliments on my skin it’s crazy. Random strangers approach me in Target wanting to know what skin care I use. And while I do have a great KOREAN/JAPANESE product routine, it’s this cushion foundation that makes my skin really glow. And it also lasts so well. It can handle the intense Florida heat like a champ, with no oxidation or sliding around at all. It blurs my texture and evens my skin tone, getting rid of all the redness. It truly does make me look like a living filter. I do like the Tir Tir red cushion foundation too but this one is just the bees knees. This one isn’t as dewy as the red compact. I don’t like a super dewy finish. I prefer a finish somewhere between satin and matte, which is exactly what this AI cushion delivers, a Demi matte finish if I’m being technical about it. As a former pro makeup artist, I’ve tried quite a few cushion foundations and I really like a few. But this one is kinda my holy grail. If I want a quick get ready this one is the one I reach for. I bought this because it is incredibly viral, with lots of videos showing that it magically blurs skin and is high coverage. The shade I bought was very orange, but I dragged it down my neck to help it blend. It was hard to color match. I would go lighter than you think you need. As far as the packaging, it’s seriously the best I’ve ever seen. The compact is sleek, modern, and comes with a great mirror. I was wowed by the packaging before even using the product! The foundation comes covered by a foil seal that you remove. I am interested to see how long the foundation stays the wet consistency in this form. As far as coverage, it’s pretty good but not nearly as blurring or seamless as I expected. This picks up all of your peach fuzz, and I didn’t find it to blur anything. The texture on my face was still very apparent. The foundation is a great consistency, however, and is not too sticky. It layers well over primer. I set this makeup with powder and wore it out. After just 2 hours, it significantly wore off by my nose and in any wrinkles. I really wasn’t happy with this. My cheeks and forehead look okay, but it even faded near my hairline. All I did was sit at an event- no sweat, no rubbing, etc. Overall, it’s a decent foundation, but I’m not sure it’s worth the hype. Other reviews are very misleading as this isn’t some miracle filter product. If you are starting out with texture, don’t expect a smooth face. At this price point, I would honestly reach for Elf’s Halo Glow Foundation (it’s cheaper and more product). I've used very expensive and this is the best foundation I have ever used and amazes me every day. I have found that I can take it the whole way under the eyes and go without concealer and my under eyes are is usually my nightmare area! It isn't drying, still looks like your skin, is light weight and doesn't make my skin break out. I am a former accutane patient and I totally approve!!! I will continue to recommend and purchase! Overall this is a nice foundation. I used the Instagram filter to find my shade and it is the perfect color. It is very light and had pretty decent cover as well. However I don’t think I’ll be buying it again because of the smell. I was very surprised to find fragrance on the ingredients list considering it’s supposed to be so high tech and good for your skin. It’s a very sharp perfume smell that’s very strong. If they stopped putting perfume in it I would absolutely buy it again though. Read more
