Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls One Dozen

I have played the Chrome Soft golf ball for a few years and feel strongly that is a premium golf ball. I am a 4 and 6 handicap player on the two courses at my club, not a golf ball guru, but, I know enough to notice ball flight and spin. Anyhow, I avoided the Pro V1 ball forever because ..... I did not want to like it and then end up paying the price for that golf ball. Well, I caught the Pro V1 ball for a price "less than" the Chrome Soft so I bought a dozen. NOTE: I think Callaway missed the boat letting by pricing their golf ball higher than the Pro V1. That action lost them at least one customer. Now, 3 dozen purchases later, I can honestly say, the Titleist Pro V1 performs better for me than my beloved Chrome Soft. If Titleist keeps their prices lower, or close to the Chrome Soft, I'll be playing the Pro V1, period. Read more

I lose too many balls to feel comfortable buying these for myself to try. I purchased two boxes for Christmas gifts for my mother and father-in-law and they seem to like them. He actually does get 20-40 more yard out of his drive with these. Prior to me buying them these balls the only time they didn't have "cheap" balls was when they found a decent one on the course someone had left/lost.
