I bought this for an upcoming Halloween party, wanting something more interesting than a standard static mask. The mask itself is made of extremely sturdy plastic, and the sponge cushion on the inside makes it comfortable enough to wear for a few hours. It's not heavy, which is a plus. The main feature is the gesture control for changing the faces. It took a few tries to get the hang of the timing, but it works reliably once you figure it out. You hold your hand in front of the sensor to activate it, then just wave to cycle through the different patterns. The ability to lock a pattern in place is also a great feature so it doesn't change accidentally. I also discovered that you can click through the patterns with the power button. The LED patterns are bright and there's a good variety of both static and animated faces. The battery life seems solid. I charged it fully when it arrived and it lasted for several hours of testing and wearing it around the house. It should have no problem lasting through a long party or a night of trick-or-treating. My only minor complaint is that your vision is a bit limited, as you're looking through the grid of LEDs. It's fine for a party, but you'll want to be cautious walking around in the dark. There are a lot of designs you can cycle through - by either waving your hand in front of a sensor or just by clicking the power button. I never used the gesture sensor - you can turn it off if you don't want to use it. I wish they had made at least two buttons so you can cycle forward and backwards. Otherwise to get to a previous face you have to cycle through all of them. The LEDs are very bright but they are spaced pretty far apart, so up close some of the designs don't look very good. You get a few animated graphics (like pules of color, fire and whirly designs) but oddly none of the faces - those are all static. There is a foam pad on the back for around your eyes, so it isn't too uncomfortable to wear. Definitely can't use it and wear glasses at the same time. The eye slits are wide enough to allow for decent vision. Probably wouldn't be comfortable if you had a long nose. Still, this makes for a pretty nice visual effect when paired with a simple black hoodie. Battery life is excellent and comes with a little USB-C charging cable. Read more

This is an awesome light up mask! The mask is easy to see out of through its slitted eyeholes and is surprisingly comfortable. It is made out of really nice materials and covered with dozens of high powered LED lights that are quite bright. The mask comes with dozens of patterns that are easy to flip through either using the button or hand gestures. I thought it was really fun how it sensed gestures and changed accordingly, but you can also lock the image in place. It also has a long charge and remained bright for the two hours I tested it, which was super impressive! A: Yes! even has 234 little LEDs Q: Is it comfortable to wear for long periods of time? A: This question all depends on your own level of comfortability. Q: What type of battery does it take? A: This comes is a USB-C charging cable and claims to last for up to 10 hours of wear time. I personally haven't even come close to that long to give you a personal accurate time frame. This is a crazy mask for disguising your face! Very bright, and a wide variety of faces to choose from, going from creepy to fun. Visibility was pretty good out of the mask, and it was pretty comfortable to wear. It fit our heads well and the batteries still haven't worn out, even after a few hours of use. Totally cool!
