I got this bottle for my granddaughter and it’s been a hit. The size is just right for a school day, and the locking lid keeps it from leaking in her backpack. This water bottle feels like it is a quality item. It is a very good price for an item of this quality. The plastic that the water bottle is made out of feels strong and sturdy and thick. Also, all of the edges are smooth, and the center has a soft silicone holder for your hand. Also, the bottle has measurements in milliliters written on it and a marking that says that the bottle itself is Triton food grade material, and BPA free. I do appreciate those markings as it makes clear that that is the case. Additionally, and interestingly, the top of the bottle contains a push button mechanism that flips open the top which is normally closed to keep the built-in straw clean. The mechanism of that pop top seems to me like it will last for a while, and it does not seem like it is cheaply made. You push the button(which is easy to do and does not take a lot of pressure) and then the clear plastic top flips open, and your straw appears, and you can drink out of it. The straw is flexible, silicone, and my only complaint perhaps is that maybe it’s a bit strange feeling in my mouth (see photos one and three). This is a nitpicky comment, but I raise it so that everyone considering buying it will look at that closely to see if it works for them. Personally, I think I will use this bottle quite often. There is also a loop at the front which may be convenient or holding the bottle or attaching it to something. Additionally, that loop can be flipped up to allow the whole unit to be sleek. I also like the color and the fact that this is dishwasher safe. Overall, I will enjoy using this, and I think it will last a long time. For this cost, it is a very good value. This is a great little water bottle. It feels sturdy, not flimsy, and the design is simple and clean. I got this for my little best friend because she is always drinking out of any water bottle near her. I love the locking lid—it makes me feel a little more secure when throwing it in a bag. The built-in handle is super handy too. I got this more for portability than for a kid, and I still love it for everyday use. It’s easy to drink from, easy to clean, and the color is beautiful. I got this water bottle for my mother-in-law to use on a trip out west to the Grand Canyon. While she won't be doing a lot of hiking, we will take her down one of the trails a little way, so this can help keep her hydrated along the way. The size and color are nice for an older adult or a child, and can be carried without too much weight. The bottle can easily go into a side pocket of a backpack, and there's a locking loop that prevents the lid from popping open unexpectedly while in transport (e.g. flight, etc.). There's grip plastic on the side of the bottle and lid to assist in gripping the lid when removing it, and keep the bottle from becoming slick when wet. The lid has a seal that prevents water from leaking out when on its side, and the pop-up straw is great for taking a quick sip and then closing again. The lid pushes/crimps the straw down so that it's closed and doesn't leak when the lid is closed. The bottle was intended to always use with the straw, so there is no option to use it otherwise. The lid on the bottle snaps down tight when it's closed too, so it can't just pop open on its own easily. All in all, we're very happy with this water bottle and think it's a good value. Read more
