LOVE these patches!
These are the best acne patches I’ve tried so far, and I’ve tried a lot of brands! And they’re super cheap! In my experience as someone that struggles with “leaky” acne, this product absorbs more fluid and absorbs faster than Mighty Patch, especially if you’re using larger pieces. I LOVE the larger patches, as you can use a pair of scissors to cut them to any desired shape/size. I have had the best results on large blemishes by using a piece that’s at least twice the surface area of the blemish itself, as the hydrocolloid has more absorbent area and won’t “fill up” as quick (I get a very large blemish that seems to have an infinite amount of fluid at least once a week, so I know a thing or two about hydrocolloid patches LOL). I’ve seen a big difference in my acne while using these patches- by covering up active blemishes, it helps to keep surrounding areas clean by preventing any of the fluid from transferring. These patches stick well and will stay on for a very long time if you adhere them to clean, non-greasy skin. You can’t put adhesive on dirty/greasy surfaces and expect it to stick… using a q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol to wipe away any grease on an active blemish before applying these patches works well, but if you’re applying to a large area, it’s best to wash your whole face beforehand.
