Speechless about how good this thing is. I replace phone holders a couple times a year. I started doing the adhesive cup style ones because the suction cup kind just dont stick. And thar adhesive bakes off and fails after 6 or 9 months of sun and heat. Expensive habit. THIS one however, is about the same price, and when they say "military grade" theyre not kidding. That suction cup is serious. Its pretty hard to latch down. It took both thumbs to crank it while pressing as hard as I could into the window. And once it latched, it was ON there. Its solid. Zero slop most of the time. Sometimes in the summer when its 98 degrees outside in Florida, with the arm fully extended, and an S20 Ultra in the holdee, it will have a tiny bit of movement but not much. And once the car's AC cools it down, it stops. The ammount of bond that this thing has to my window when its latched is kind of comical. It feels like its screwed down. Its a suction cup so im sure theres a limit. But you really gotta try pretty hard to make it come off. I actually trust this one not to just drop off my windshield at random one day. The holder is solid and holds phones even larger than my S20 Ultra. Theres a down side there though. I dont know if its my reflective sun visor or just part of how its been designed, but the knobs you queeze together to get the jaws to open up are VERY hot in the summer. Its stainless steel from the look of it and man they suck up that heat. They need a solution for this. Luckly ive got the means to make rubber grommets for it and that fixed it. But just be aware of this because you may need ti figure something out as well. Before I had those, I used my shirt as an "oven mitt". As for adjustment, its the most adjustable holder ive ever seen. Its got 3 pivot points, so pretty much any spot or angle you want, it will do that. It does need quite a bit of tension if you have bumpy roads or have 700hp and a heavy foot. But itll hold as long as you crank on it. The entire arm system is aluminium except the cranking knob, which seems to be ABS. This may seem like a cop-out to some of you. But I actually learned to appreciate that... Because its not as hot as the surface of the sun after a hot day sitting in a parking lot, like the jaw release knobs. My one issue is that it only seems to come in a dull green shade. Id much rather have it in colors, bright anodized colors. Like blue, to match my car's stripe and interior trim. A full set of colors is all id change. And a stock solution to the jaw knobs that get way too hot in the sun. Ive bought dozens of phone holders over the years. This is BY FAR the star of the show. I will never go back after having experienced these things. Read more

This is really nice. I drive a semi and this mount is the most stable amount I’ve ever bought no matter what price range. It’s nice not having that sticky stuff that goes on your windshield that you can’t take off. This one you can really adjust to any angle you want. It looks to be incredibly durable as it’s made from mostly metal. I wasn’t too sure if I would like the way it holds your phone because I’m used to a magnetic mount. But in a truck, the magnetic mounts don’t work too good because they drop your phone due to vibration. The clamp that they include is excellent. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. It’s a great buy and if you want something that’s gonna last and it it’s highly adjustable. I would definitely get this. Read more

This phone mount addresses a specific challenge that many drivers face but few products adequately solve: preventing phone overheating in hot climates while maintaining secure positioning on rough roads. Key Performance Advantages: The extended reach capability is this mount’s standout feature. Unlike traditional holders that position devices close to the windshield where solar heat concentrates, this design allows strategic placement higher on the windshield and away from direct sunlight. This positioning proved crucial for preventing thermal shutdowns during extended drives in subtropical conditions, even with maximum air conditioning. Build Quality and Reliability: The suction cup mechanism demonstrates exceptional holding power across varied road conditions. After installation, the mount has maintained secure attachment through numerous drives on unpaved rural roads without any loss of suction or positioning drift. The materials exhibit robust construction with solid joint connections that inspire confidence in long-term durability. Installation Notes: Assembly is straightforward with multiple configuration options to accommodate different vehicle layouts and user preferences. Critical tip: ensure all connection points are properly tightened before applying the suction mount to prevent later adjustment difficulties. Real-World Performance: This mount effectively eliminates two common frustrations: phone overheating and mount failure on rough surfaces. The combination of superior suction technology and flexible positioning makes it particularly valuable for drivers in challenging environments where standard mounts fall short. Value Assessment: The investment is justified by the mount’s specialized capabilities and reliable performance. For drivers dealing with extreme heat conditions or rough road surfaces, this represents a practical solution that delivers measurable benefits over conventional alternatives. Read more

Yes it is what they show on the advertisements, rigid, versatile since it moves any position needed, and is totally worth it cause you place it right on the middle like I have it and its not intrusive with the front view, just a quick pick and you may see your rout without taking your sight from the road. Also it expands wide enough for almost any cell phone like mine that has an anti brake casing and it grabs pretty stiff The only feed back I would provide is, the mechanism to attach and release the phone. It may seam like is not functional But its really a Safety Issue in a Positive Way, cause you only can manipulate the sujesion and extraction of your phone when you are Stopped before beguining your trip and at the end, cause it requires Both Hands to Properly Operate Best Regards Read more
