Purchased for utilitarian purpose, largely warmth. Happily, not only are they warm, but impressive quality for price. Color is versatile taupe/oatmeal shade (may not be best choice if stains are likely) , knit is tight, deceptively lightweight, and so far shows no indication of pillage.
