Finding comfortable, well-fitting underwear for a "big husky" kid can be a massive game of trial and error. My son is 4’7” and 130 lbs, and finding basics that don’t pinch or ride up is a challenge. These ToBeInStyle boxer briefs in the XL (16-18) are a total win. The Fit & Feel The first thing we noticed is the generous fit. They actually fit true to size for a husky build and even left him with a little "room to grow," which is rare. The waistband is impressively stretchy without being restrictive, and the cotton-blend material is breathable and soft right out of the package. The "Daily Driver" Details: No-Fly Design: Note that these are a closed-pouch / pull-down style. There is NO front fly opening. This wasn't a dealbreaker for us at all, but it’s helpful to know before you buy! Total Comfort: My son’s favorite part is the tagless design. No itchy tags tickling him all day. He also mentioned they stayed in place perfectly at school—no riding up or bunching under his pants. Laundry & Durability (Pro-Tip!) These are really well-made for the price. Regarding shrinking: I had zero issues with shrinkage. However, I always wash our laundry on Cold/Cold, which likely helped them keep their original shape and size. They came out of the wash looking brand new and just as stretchy as before. The Verdict: Definitely Mom and son approved! If you’re looking for a great value and a fit that actually respects a sturdier build, I highly recommend these. Read more

This 3-pack of boy's boxer briefs is made from very soft and stretchy cotton, with a thick waistband that is gentle on my son's skin. He says they are comfortable, and they fit just as expected. They wash up nicely, with minimal shrinkage. They have been washed a handful of times and still look great. The only gripe I have is that the price is quite high for just 3pr of boys underwear. These briefs are made from good material that is soft, has good coverage, and a really stretchy waistband that also holds against the body well without being constrictive. The material is a bit on the “thinner” side but I wouldn’t call them “thin”. The stitching looks well done and these appear to be adequately durable for an active boy. The fit looks to be true to size. My son is 10 years old weighing about 75-80 pounds and these fit him well. With the elastic band on the waist being really stretchy, it can help accommodate growing sizes, too, which is nice. However, the leg bands are not overly stretchy like the waistband, but do have some stretch and give to them. Those are probably what will become too tight for him first after he grows more. So far these have held up well and my son doesn’t mind wearing them compared to boxer briefs and he says they are comfy. As far as I am concerned, these are good underwear that fit well, are stretchy while staying in place around his torso, and seem to be durable for a growing boy. Read more

I am happy with this package of boys' underwear. We got the boxer-brief style. I sized up for my son to grow into them, and i'm glad we did because they run small. I don't think they shrunk much in the wash, but the leg-holes don't look large enough for a 16-18-yr-old, as the sizing chart says in the listing for an XL. See the picture i took with my petite hand inside the leg-hole, i just don't think that will stretch comfortably around most 16-yr-old boys. My son is quite thin, and they will fit him at age 14, but my kids are below-average size/weight. The waistband is a good width, and stretchy as expected. Will lay flat and isn't scratchy. The fabric on these is quite thin. It is soft, and feels like it will breathe and not be sweaty in the hot months. Read more

These boxer briefs turned out to be a great everyday option for my kid, they’re soft, breathable, and have just the right amount of stretch so they stay comfortable during school and play. The waistband is gentle and doesn’t dig in, and the assorted basic colors are practical and easy to mix into his drawer. They wash well without shrinking much, and the fit seems true to size. Overall, they’re a solid, affordable multipack that feels good and holds up nicely for active kids. Read more

I ordered the ToBeInStyle boy’s multi-pack of assorted cotton boxer briefs for my 9-year-old son in Medium, but unfortunately, they ended up being too small. The fit was tighter than expected, especially around the waist. The fabric itself is soft and breathable, so the quality is good. I just wish I had ordered a size up. The material feels comfortable on the skin and should be great for everyday wear once the right size is purchased. Overall, these boxer briefs are high-quality, fun, and practical, but make sure to check the sizing carefully. For my son, I’ll reorder in Large so he can actually wear them comfortably. I still recommend the brand for good cotton material, just size up! Read more
These are very nice quality briefs. The fabric is nice and thick, making the briefs feel very durable. Despite the material being thicker, they are still very breathable. They are made very well with absolutely no flaws. They fit my son perfectly, so sizing is accurate. While the quality is very impressive, I do find these to be expensive since you only get 3 pcs. I appreciate that the quality makes them last longer, but kids grow at a tremendous speed and probably won't use them for a very long time. Read more
