I've had this for about a month or so, and so far, the hats work well. It's lightweight, it offers great sun protection, and the colors are spot-on with the photos (LOVE the vibrant blue). It's hard to find a hat that offers good protection from the sun but also doesn't make your head too hot, but I think this hat does the job pretty well. My toddler is iffy on wearing hats - sometimes they're fine, other times he's not having it. The strap helps it stay in place, and he tolerates it about 80% of the time, so I'll take it. He also looks completely adorable in it. The fact that it's adjustable with a band around the top is great. I hope it lasts for years so he can keep wearing them, and I don't have to buy new ones! My one year old to my 6/7 year old can fit these, because they are adjustable! I love the adjustable strap for under the chin so it doesn’t slide off, and the back neck cover. Please grab these for the summer. The colors were fect for every outfit. I bought this hat for my baby’s first beach trip, and the coverage is excellent. The neck flap is long enough to protect her and shoulders and back without being too heavy or causing him to overheat. I was impressed by the breathability of the fabric; even on a 90-degree day, her head didn't come out sweaty after our walk. The adjustable toggle is a must-have feature. It allowed me to get a snug fit so the wind didn't blow it off, and the chin strap is soft enough that it didn't irritate her skin. We took these on vacation for our toddler and they were top tier. Covered so much and her face/neck stayed completely sun free. Fit great and the adjustable band in the back worked well to tighten it so it stayed on in the ocean too. Dried quickly and she didn't seem to mind it on her head.
