As an RDH of 30+ years, I find these adorable brushes ideal for my pediatric dental patients! Perfect for the child that is starting to learn to brush on their own a little more while making it fun. Using the flamingo body as a wider grip is great for little hands to hold and the thumb pad creates less chance of it slipping and hitting the ground. Nice extra soft bristles that won't hurt if they wind up chewing it more than actually brushing, which many children tend to do until they get the hang of things with proper brushing technique. Head size is spot on for the recommended age group of 2-8, although by 7 or 8, your child may find this one a little too juvenile. But for the toddler to early school age, this one is spot on! Many manufacturers are adding the suction cup on pedo brushes which is such a fun addition to just sticking it right to the bathroom counter. These flamingo toothbrushes are just what I needed for my twin girls. They use them and then stick the bottom to the mirror and they live to do that and it stores them nicely. Before they would throw them right and left and then we always lose their toothbrushes for the past few days they have been using them and always putting them in the window with the bottom part and it sticks well. All day and night it would stay firmly on the window without moving at all. I also like that it is easy for them to hold and fun for them to brush with and it cleans easily and using with no issues. These pink parrot toothbrushes are so darn cute. The bristles are even pink and white. They are just the right size for toddlers and preschoolers to grasp easily for brushing their teeth. I still brush my son’s teeth, but he is getting to the age where his fine motor skills are developed enough to start brushing on his own. This flamingo shaped brush is a great way to introduce brushing to your kids. He can hold the brush easily in his hand, and the bristles are ultra gentle for when he misses his teeth and brush his gums. The head is a good size for his 6-year-old mouth which makes a huge difference in not only comfort, but also in the ability to reach the back molars. We’ve used larger headed brushes in the past that couldn’t hit the back molar well, especially on the inside wall. This brush can get right in there for a nice cleaning.
