This little generator is not the most powerful, quiet or pleasant-smelling one you’ll find. Those are the limitations of the 2-stroke motor. But it starts up quickly, is easy to use, and does its job well. I have used it to run a lithium battery charger, and it runs 5 hours or so on a gallon of blended gas. It’s small enough to stow away in my limited space as a van-dweller. It’s relatively lightweight, and for the price is an awesome deal! Yes I could have paid triple the price for one that’s quieter and has a lot more power, but I didn’t need those features, and as an emergency generator, it’s reliable and useful. Me likey! Read more

I bought the generator to provide power on the property in areas that are remote. I use an electric tree limber and circular saw mostly and it provided ample power to both devices for about 4 months and then I noticed the power would drop off when under load and eventually it quit altogether and would not start. I contacted customer service and they sent me troubleshooting instructions with pictures to assist with identifying if the issue could be resolved. It was the coil that went bad and the seller sent me a prepaid shipping label to return the generator and replaced it with a new one. 4 stars because it came dented in on the top and the box looked great no broken styrofoam...The generator is light weight I needed something for camping that didnt weigh 200 lbs like my big generator.. It runs lights fan waffle maker and a 800 watt skillet no problems of course the skillet and waffle maker seperately.. The generator is great for charging batteries I used it to run a fan and lights and cpap machine I got about 6.5 hours out of the tank of gas..On the 2nd nite I filled a spare can with about a gallon of pre mixed at 40:1 to top it off when I got up to pee in the middle of the night this kept it running til I shut it off after about 10.5 hours with gas to spare...Starts easily with choke on make sure you turn on the fuel petcock and shut it off and run gas out of carb when not using or storing to keep it from gumming up... Generator started up ran for 2 hours using a small mouse sander is not putting out power now. Generator motor appears to be running just fine but it's putting out no electricity. I've only had this generator for 2 days.Says that I can return it but that seems to be a lie,was told by Amazon that I can't..I would Not Recommend this Product to anyone..$200 dollars Completely WASTED! First of all, about the delivery. That was very good indeed arriving 3 days earlier than I had expected. This generator is super value for money. Solidly built, starts on the second pull, it is little noisy with a two stroke, but it is ok - and runs my 700 watt machine easily. I had been worried about start up power as I kept reading on the internet that electric motors needed up to three times more power at start up than their normal running - but the sellers insisted it would be OK - and they were right, do not use power over 800W, it would be ok. I needed a generator to charge my battery for my pop up camper and my electric mountain bike battery when I'm camping. I could never understand why the Honda generator with a thousand watt output was $1,000 . I found one similar at a discount hardware store, but still was $700 . When I found this Togo generator on Amazon it was almost unbelievable . I knew what the claims were , but wished I had a moving visual to see what I was ordering . I couldn't find enough reviews about this generator on Amazon, so I went on YouTube. There, I found a product review, that was direct, precise, and to the point. It presented all the basics....plus more. I didn't need any more convincing. I pushed the "buy now" button and I have not been let down since. I just mixed the 2- cycle oil with the gas,put in a little fuel stabilizer and it was up and running on the second pull!!! No exaggeration, this is the best bang for my buck I have EVER purchased. Had this generator almost two years now, I’ve used it at least 15-20 times. I bought it mostly for camp but then found myself using it at my house as well, obviously won’t power every application in a house but it’ll keep a heater going to keep you warm and keep the tv on to keep you entertained, haven’t had a single issue, just one complaint and that’s fuel capacity. It does the job. Besides the fact that the spark plug that came in it had to be replaced within 24 hours, I haven’t had any issues with it. It runs a little high/fast, so it sounds like it’s going to sputter out constantly, and it is not quite. I gave it 4 stars - for the price, size, etc. I’m satisfied with it. I could not give 5 stars because it does not last for 12 hrs (or w/e it advertised). At the most, it gets 2-4 hours before I have to put more gas in it. I don’t believe it’s using the entire tank but if I don’t add gas when it quits, it will only run for, maybe 5 mins; no matter how many times I restart it. It says adding extension cords and such reduces run time - I’m not sure how they got so much run time out of it unless they started it without anything attached to it and just let it run, even then I’d have to question that amount of time.
