This thing was a waste of money. No intial size choice you nee The Hulk arms for it to fit. Instructions are no help on the back of the "box. Read more
This couldn’t be any more necessary then for a torn rotator cuff. I tore my rotator cuff and tore my biceps. Ouch! ! ! I’ve been trying to use different ice packs, frozen towels, and frozen peas but could not get them to stay put nor cover all that I needed icing. This one arm ice cover is designed perfectly for this need. Now the box did say one size and also had the option for large size but that wasn’t an available option when I ordered it. It does work, it possibly is a bit large but with adjusting the wide soft Velcro straps it fit fine. I had it on about 45 minutes and it relieved my pain for quite some time. It was a bit stiff when I took it out of the freezer but I stretched it out and laid it flat on the counter for about 5 minutes then put it back on and it conformed to my shoulder just fine. If you or someone you know has an injury in the shoulder, suggest this product. Read more

I had shoulder surgery yesterday. I got 2 different type ice packs. The Tolaccea shoulder pack takes hours to get cold and stays cold longer. Only can wear an ice pack 20 to 30 min, not an hour. Don't like that have to keep pulling it up to stay in place and has an offensive odor near my nose... I much prefer the other one I got. The TheraICE Pro shoulder pack is more soft and comfortable, stays in place and no odor. Costs less also. Read more
This ice/heat shoulder pack is very well made of comfortable, quality materials and is highly adjustable, thanks to the versatility of the velcro strap (with the ability to tighten/loosen in both directions). Mine got delivered in sub-zero temps, so I had the benefit of trying it on right away. While not ice cold, it was plenty cold, even after sitting indoors for nearly a full day. The brace is easy on/off, once you figure out how to get it on and to adjust the straps, though you might need a helping hand if you have a painful injury like a clavicle fracture or frozen shoulder, given how heavy the overall brace is. Having the integrated gel rather than removable ice packs allows for more seamless coverage, but it also means taking up more room in the freezer. The included care instructions say to wipe off any moisture that forms on the brace from the freezer; you might want to store this in a plastic bag or similar when freezing, to minimize any condensation. It just needs to be in the freezer for 1-2 hours before use. The gel is squishy and heavy, almost like a super dense jello. The brace lies nicely over my shoulder and stays in place once strapped up, though I can feel the weight (to the extent it might not be as suitable if you're fresh off a fracture). While my biceps are technically within specs (~8" circumference, vs the >7" circumference listed on the sizing chart), the arm sleeve part is too large for me, so hangs loosely around my upper arm. There is some gel on the top part of the arm area, so I'm not able to benefit from that. On the upside, the overall brace is larger on me than on the average person, so I get more coverage over my shoulder. Another great thing about the brace is that it can be used on either shoulder. Honestly, it can also be used on your knees in a pinch. And when you're not injured, you can use it as a makeshift heating pad, or a cold pack to cool you down. I can't speak to longevity yet, but as mentioned, it appears to be well constructed of quality materials. The current price of ~$50 seems a tad high to me, but it's likely less than you'd have to pay getting a comparable brace through your doctor's office. Read more
