Pretty little black dress with polyester velvet material, flutter sleeves, and versatile length that makes it appropriate for an office party or drinks with friends. The 9% spandex means it's extra stretchy - I ordered the size 14, and it fits fairly try to size but I do find it's more form fitting on me than on the model. The fabric is a nice quality - although polyester can get a little warm since it's a synthetic material, this is a lighter weight fabric and its looser fit will allow some level of air flow. I’m giving this dress 4 stars for the quality, brand reputation, and how well it’s made. It has a flattering length, isn’t too tight, and feels very polished. I ordered a size 14, and honestly, I could have sized down. For reference, I’m 5'7" and around 175 lbs. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is that it’s dry clean only, which I didn’t realize when ordering. I’m not sure what occasion this dress was originally designed for, but I’m definitely planning to wear it for New Year’s Eve. It’s absolutely stunning! I love the color and the material - it feels so nice to the touch. The zipper in the back is very neat and almost invisible, which I really appreciate. It fits beautifully on the body.
