This is a sweater after my heart. It is 100% cotton, wash in cold, flat to dry out of the light, no dryer. People make fun of my laundry rules, but I have finally been vindicated. You should go ahead and get this sweater quickly, because it is aimed at Christmas with snowflakes on it. I can’t tell if the main color is black or navy blue, but to me it looks navy blue. It’s a thinner sweater, so I would definitely wear a dark bra with it. I know I say that a lot about shirts, but I will say it about a name brand shirt as easily as I will say it about an inexpensive shirt. I bought this in a medium, because I do not like my sweaters to be fitted. I could easily get a button-down shirt under this. This would look great with jeans or a skirt. I found no flaws in the manufacturing. The colors are crisp with no fading. It’s exactly what I’ve come to expect from this designer’s clothing. It’s very soft, and the style is classic. You can wear it this year and you can wear it 10 years from now. The neck is not cut too low, and it is not too tight at the bottom. The sleeves are the right length in line with the size. It’s just a really nice sweater. If you think the price is too much, think of the other things you have in your closet, the fabric they made of, and how many seasons they last. This is a medium thick weight sweater that isn't super bulky and is overall well made. I love the design. I am 5'3 and 170lbs and am pushing a 36DDD, I ordered a large and would say that this fits surpassingly well and is a smidge loose/baggy in the arms and doesn't fit snug, though due to my curves though I would not be able to size down and be comfortable because of how tight it would be on the bust. I expect that a toss in the dryer for a few should leave me with the perfect fit. If you are in between sizes, this is one you can definitely size down on! Read more

I’m surprised by how much I like this sweater. It’s actually a real dark navy blue and red/white. The pattern at the front of the shoulders does not extend to the back which usually bothers me but doesn’t with this sweater for some reason. It’s not loose, but not tight. The arms fit perfect and that’s usually harder to find for me because my upper arm circumference is larger than average for my size. The V neck is fairly low, but not indecent. When I tried it on, my husband said, “oh that looks NICE”. He doesn’t usually comment on my clothes, so I can solidly say that it must look pretty nice then! I love that it’s 100% cotton but it’s not chunky. The yarns it is made from are pretty fine. The interior of the design has been knitted to keep from having loops of the different colors catching on things. I think it would look good paired with a pleated skirt or denim. I may wear a shirt underneath but it doesn’t really need one. It is not see through and has full coverage when I raise my arms. As for size, I am 5’7” tall, 220 pounds and I usually wear a size 16 in almost everything. I have larger than average upper arms and an average bust size. I got this in XL and it’s the perfect fit! This sweater is very flattering on and well-made. It's not extremely heavy, so you could layer a tank or t-shirt underneath. But it's also not so lightweight that you would be cold in the winter. I am 5'5", 128 lbs, and 34DD. I typically will wear a medium in shirts, and that's what I ordered. I like that it's not skin-hugging tight but also not too loose. It really is so versatile that I feel I could wear it in multiple seasons. The red pattern is on the front of the chest and shoulders as well as on the bottom of the sleeve.
