This coat is really nice! The fabric is high quality - it's very thick, durable, and yet still very comfortable too. It's warm for fall/winter weather in more moderate climates. It's a nice color and very easy to style. I ordered my usual size and while it mostly fit, I felt it was a tad snug and I could have benefited from sizing up. I recently moved to a colder area of the country, so I knew that I would need items for Fall and Winter that could be dressed up or down. The answer to that problem? Tommy Hilfiger. I've always loved Tommy Hilfiger brand clothing because of its versatility and classic, yet edgy styles. This updated version of a classic trench coat is absolutely no exception! It's s nothing short of perfect; perfect size, perfect color, perfect weight, shape, fabric and look! As you can see, it can be paired well with jeans, and would look just as fantastic in heels, with tennis shows and with dresses or skirts! The weight of this jacket is heavier than I was expecting in a great way! The fabric is luxurious, soft and exactly what you'd want from a trench coat. The lining is silky and oh so comfortable! But the weight definitely lends itself towards warmth -- I must have in my new area of the woods! This coat can be worn casually open - like a blazer, or quickly tied around the waist when it's too cold out to use the jacket solely for fashion. Open or closed, it looks amazing! (I needed an iron for it and did not have access to one, so please forgive the few wrinkles you will see in my photos.) The fit is SO true. I ordered my usual Small for my 5' 6" 120-lb frame, and it is an awesome fit! The price point for this coat is actually low... a steal given the quality and brand name, so if you are looking for the perfect fall trench coat, I suggest you jump on this deal without hesitation! This trench coat felt comfortable and the fit was as expected. However, the buttons were there for decorative purposes rather than for closure. The description mentioned a single button front closure but aside from the tie belt, there was no closure. While this trench coat looked stylish enough, I would have preferred better closure. Tall woman review: I'm 5'9" and tend to have trouble with most tops fitting my broader shoulders and narrow, long torso. Jackets are no exception. I ordered a M and it in fact fits my shoulders nicely. The waist uses a belt which makes fit around the torso adjustable instead of a zipper. The pockets are comfortable placed and this jacket has all the quality you'd expect from a name brand like Tommy. It's a great style for casual or business attire. And keeps me nice and dry. Very nice jacket! Excellent quality and the fit was great. I am 5 foot three and 140 pounds and it fit me very well although it might be a bit long since I am on the shorter side. It also had a great lining on the inside, which was nice. Maybe a petite would have fit me better. All in all great for the price a great trench coat. Read more
