MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. The fit? Perfect. It’s that kind of material that smooths everything out without being tight. The length? Respectable but still had me staring. The sleeves? Just enough to make it look polished without overheating her. She slipped it on and literally walked out the bedroom like she was headed to a board meeting and brunch at the same time. Overall, this is a cute, well-made dress... with some caveats. First, it is unlined and I feel like the fabric and construction just don't match the price point. It's a lovely dress, but if someone told me it cost as much as it does, I'd be surprised. The pockets are fake, the material isn't particularly thick or high quality, and the construction is well-done but rather basic. The dress is a fabric tube with some embellishments. You're really shelling out for the brand name here. This criticism is objective, so I'm dinging a star for it. Second, the fit is also just not going to look good on a lot of women. It's pretty much a straight tube of a dress. Very office appropriate, but might look a bit matronly on some, and it's not going to look the best on every figure. I'm a younger woman and this just wasn't a flattering look on me. This is subjective and to do with my personal experience, so I'm not dinging a star for it. On the positive side, the color, material, and overall look are accurate to life. The dress is well-made, even though I feel like the value isn't entirely present, it didn't have loose threads or any other hallmarks of shoddy construction, no visible seams, no pilling or flaws in the fabric, lining, etc. It comes in a bag with its own hanger, and is well-protected from harm. It's also extremely comfortable to wear (it's a tube, it better be), and is loose and nice to have on. There were no seams or embellishments rubbing or pulling. However, on a minus -- no lining. I really like this dress! I ordered my regular size, and It’s a bit snug, but still comfortable to wear. I have many TH dresses, and they usually fit true to size, so I was surprised this was snug on me. If you don’t like a snug fit, I would recommend ordering one size up. I think it would look better and be more flattering if it were a bit loose. I got the brown multi color, and I love the color and pattern. I paired it with knee-high black suede boots and a black suede short jacket, and it looks SOOO stylish. I got so many compliments. There is a long zipper in the back which I found pretty easy to zip up and down by myself, and there’s a hook and eye closure above the zipper. I hate that it’s dry clean only…ugh. Nobody wants that.
