Tommy John Mens Trunk 4 Underwear - Hammock Pouch for Enhanced Support - Second Skin Fabric for Barely-there

I recently tried the Tommy John Men’s Trunk 4” Underwear with the Hammock Pouch for Enhanced Support, and these are by far the most comfortable underwear I’ve ever owned. The fit is spot on, and the size chart was accurate, which made choosing the right size a breeze. The Hammock Pouch design really adds a level of support that makes a huge difference in comfort throughout the day. These trunks are now my go-to, and they’re definitely replacing all the other underwear in my dresser drawer. The material is soft, breathable, and feels premium. I'd like to preface by saying, I really wanted to like these underwear. The underwear are definitely pricey and these are an investment. I only have two big things to say: one good and one bad. The Positive: The fabric that these are made out of are absolutely wonderful! It's the softest and most well done fabric I have ever seen in any men's product. Tommy John's Second Skin Pajamas, which I own a pair of, are of the same fabric and it is wonderful. Tommy John does fabric perfectly. The Negative: The pouch as a whole is what I have trouble with. The "Hammock Design" doesn't serve it's function. The flaps of the hammock just fold up against the fabric and my jewels never stay nestled or supported. They always just slip out (This may just be a me problem). Another thing that I think is inherently wrong in the design is that the crotch area isn't really designed super well to serve as a pouch. It is better than your $25 multi-pack at your average superstore but the pouch isn't designed as well as other brands of pouch underwear that I have tried. These underwear are great. I love the ball sack holder where I can gently rest my genitals. The fabric does not rub which is nice comparative to other brands that I have tried. I have been a big fan of dynasty over the years and recently purchased these. I seem to like them more as the fabric pulls to my skin a little bit differently and does not rub. Read more

I was always a Saxx fan but after they changed their sizing a few years back the love affair was over. I went through alot of brands, expensive and otherwise (Spyder, shinesty, me undies, Hanes etc.) and they all missed the mark. Thanks to Tommy John for hitting it out of the park. I would argue that Tommy John second skin material is tough to beat. It's extremely comfortable and yet breathable. I like the new concept of keeping your boys in place more, so I went with my favorite brand, TJ. Everyone has a name, their is hammock pouch. Problem is, it doesn't work. The "flaps" that create the hammock are far too flimsy to do the job, so you're basically just getting regular TJ underwear. Granted, that is still a quality purchase, but if you are looking for less movement, these miss the mark. Read more
