I bought this box because it’s design gave me four weeks or rows of removable pill cubicles enclosed in another box. I’ve had it for three months and have noted the following ten points. 1. Each day’s pill cubicle is roomy enough for all my meds plus vitamins with room to spare. This includes some pretty large pills, eg four metformin tablets. Ie my pills take 1/4 the depth of the cube 2. There are no grooves or slides that can catch pills, break or crush them. Pills caught in pillbox slides are VERY hard to get out. 3. If I know I will be away from home I can take a single week row and leave the rest home. 4. Taking meds in their bottles when traveling is a pain. But the box does take time to load. I take 16 pills and vitamins a day. It takes me 20-30 minutes to load the box. That includes dumping a handful of pills into my palm several times per minute and fishing out any extra pill I might drop in by mistake. However, the convenience of having a days worth the pills all sorted and in one cubicle in the morning is a daily time saver. 5. While the weekly rows fit snugly in the outer box they are not hard to get out as there’s a small gap along the side. 6. The internal and external boxes are all made of plastic, but the inner rows of cubicles are more flexible while the outer box is rigid. 7. The clips securing the top to the bottom of the outer box, the clips securing the tops of each cubicle to their bottoms and the hinges at the back of both the cubicle tops and the outer box are made of a light weight flexible plastic. Only time will tell how they will hold up. This is especially cogent to the top of the outer box as it is opened and closed every day as the cubicle are opened once a month. But it is a plastic box after all. 7. The cubicle tops snap securely to the bottom. Not a single one on my box failed. This is important. All other snap shut boxes I have purchased in the past have had at least one and sometimes several tops that refused to snap shut. That happens when the tops snap into a little groove on the top that fits into the vertical side wall. This box has fold over snaps that fit over molded catches. 8. I chose green because some pills are sensitive to light. So far I have seen no change in the consistency of the pills. ie. They have not softened or changed taste. 9. While I have not traveled with the whole box yet, I did try it in my suitcase. I found if I put it in first and then pack on top of it, it doesn’t seem overly bulky. 10. I’ve dropped it twice and a.) it didn’t break or pop open and b.) the pills did not dump out of the cubicles. Every other box I have owned had cubical tops that popped open when dropped and spilled pills onto the floor. I attribute this miracle to the double box design. Read more
I bought this pill case for a long international trip. It is compact enough to slip easily into a back pack and yet easily holds 4 weeks worth of daily doses of my medications. It is sturdy with positive outside latches on the main case and the 4 inner sleeves for daily doses for each week are clearly marked for the appropriate calendar day in each numbered week. The daily storage space is ample if you have a large number of medications or a smaller number of large pills. Each daily dose is positively secured by an easy to operate latch. This was exactly what I needed for my travel and was an excellent purchase. The price was reasonable and the case is an excellent value given the quality of construction and general usefulness. There are many things I like about this. It is very sturdy and when you tip it over to get your pills out the other compartments do not open spilling pills everywhere. I take a weeks worth and put it on my bedside table and then just swap it out with a full week so I don't have something so big on my table. I also just got one for my day pills because I was having so many problems and so now I have a pink and a purple one. All my vitamins and pills fit comfortably in the slot and you don't have to jam the lid shut. I also have problems with my hands and it is very easy to open and close. The writing had come off my old containers and this looks like they should last a long time. (days of the week) When you travel you only have to take a week or two with you. If you take a lot of pills this container is for you. Very happy. Read more
The TookMag Monthly Pill Organizer has been a total game-changer for my routine. With 28 separate compartments, I can prep an entire month’s worth of supplements and medications in one go—no more daily sorting or second-guessing if I took my pills. The lids snap securely but are still easy to open, and the color-coded weeks make it super intuitive. It’s compact enough to fit in a drawer but holds plenty. If you’re looking for a reliable, no-fuss way to stay on top of your health, this is it. Simple, sturdy, and surprisingly satisfying to use. Read more
It is stronger and better than the cheap ones that you can find at places like Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Amazon, etc. It is definitely more resistant to dust particles and hair follicles, due to its tighter and stronger lid closures. The only downside I found was that the one side of the container that holds the weekly medication pieces in, was broken when I got it, but its nothing that gorilla glue can't fix. Other than that it is definitely worth buying. Also, even though it is a monthly pill box and only and only has week 1-4, I set it up for 1 and 3 for my morning pills and week 2 and 4 for my evening ones, as I have to take meds twice a day and there are not any pill boxes like this with a cover that provide morning and evening weekly for a monthly that I know of, so just throwing out an idea for those like me who are looking to refill their pill boxes less often and wash them less often, as there are not really any good monthly ones that provide morning and evening pill boxes. The pill organizer is amazing to keep on a schedule however the only bad thing about it is it's kinda brittle. I knocked it off my dresser one day accidentally and the side broke off. Read more
Man this is great, suffered for years with a smaller monthly pill container and don't know why I didn't switch to this a while ago. Fits everything and looks great. Read more
This worked perfectly since my mother takes many medication’s night and day. I was able to organize her pills since I purchased two of them for the entire month. One organizer is for mornings medication’s only the other one is for night medication’s only. It makes traveling so much easier since you’re able to remove the week separately so you don’t have to take the full 30 days worth of pills like other organizers when you travel. It makes her life so much easier. I would highly recommend this product. Read more
