Much better quality than other Phins I have purchased. I find the lid design a tad odd but now I accept it. You just need to lower it very carefully and slowly onto the cup, after just a little water has dripped through, and allow the air to escape via the vent hole. Then it works without spilling. Adjust to that one quirk and you have a Phin for life. Read more

I owned other Vietnamese coffee pots and without a doubt this is the best of the bunch. It is made of shiny stainless steel, has a bit of a heft compared to most others that feel tinny, and it is meticulously manufactured. Spend the extra few bucks and get this one. Makes you a tasty cup of coffee, and no paper filters are necessary as there are two layers for the hot water to go through, and no coffee grounds end up in your beverage. Very nice little coffee maker. Read more
