I'm a long time Topo wearer, having discovered them following foot surgery years ago. I was developing a bunion and looked for good, stable shoes with a wide toe box. That's Topo for sure! Over the years, I've purchased multiple pairs of Ultraventure 3s, Mountain Racer 3 and then Ultraventure 4 before trying these Aura Road Running ones out. This style seem quite a lot roomier in the upper foot across the toe box - almost excessively so and I probably could have gone down a half size from my usual size 8. Since these are not trail shoes, they have a little less weight and bulk, which is nice and really great heel support. As always, I love the 5mm drop and the overall cushion since I am more of a road walker than runner. I kept the ones I bought instead of returning for a half size smaller as they feel secure, don't slip in the heel and are really comfy, but in truth the extra room in the upper foot looks a little weird since it is obvious my toes are a long way from the end of the shoe. At least I have room for thicker socks if I need. Highly recommend Topo. Read more
These are so comfortable! Topo's design incorporates a wider toe-box area which is helpful for the arthritis in my foot. I like the design of the Aura with the 5mm drop, so my toe joint doesn't have to do as much work. The traction is good, it has ample arch support, and they are good quality. This is my third pair of Topo's in a row - I originally bought them for my running shoes, but I quickly started wearing them for everything. My feet do not hurt nearly as much since I have started wearing them, and even more so with the new style. Read more

I loved this shoe but description said to order same size as another brand I wear but it was too big. Wanted to exchange but it wouldn’t let me and price had gone way up. Lightweight and comfortable. Runs a half size bigger than my Brooks Read more
The media could not be loaded. I've had these shoes for a few months now so I feel like i can write a better review of how they've supported my feet in my workouts and my running routine. Overall, I've really liked the comfort and fit of these shoes. I mainly use them for my OrangeTheory workouts so I run about 10-12 miles a week in them and do other weight lifting workouts as well. They have a good cushion and a wider toe box which I like since my feet are just slightly wide. Some of the outside markings are starting to wear off but again, I've made good use out of these for the past five months and I feel like they've got a lot more life in them as well. The color was also something that grabbed my eye; the light lavender is really very pretty and I'm a sucker for a pretty shoe. Whether you walk or run, these would definitely provide some comfort for you. Read more
My wife loved the advanced cushioning in the heel and forefoot. She also liked the fact that it's a "stability" shoe and controlled her tendency to over-pronate. I believe the AURA will also work for under-pronation. I have the male version of the shoe and love it. Arch support is present but not like Vionic sneakers, too much and hard as a rock. She also loves the lilac color way. She says that the TOPO AURA 6 wide, is more comfortable than her new Gel Nimbus 28's, in wide. And yes, she can't tolerate a tight toe-box. This is an expensive shoe but you'll know if you need it. Read more
Love, love, love these shoes! No break in period, comfortable right out of the box. Staying on your feet for eight hours a day for your job, one needs a very supportive shoe. This one was it for me. I own several pairs of Topo shoes, but these are by far my favorite. The wide toe box and secure fit through the heel are the perfect combination for comfort. Read more
