Best, most comfortable shoe I've had in years. I originally tried the Topo Aura and Ultrafly 5. I loved the wide toe box, but the midfoot felt uncomfortable and I constantly noticed pressure in my arches. Once I tried the Phantom 4, a neutral shoe, it was a perfect fit for me. I run in them every day and plan to buy another pair as soon as I can to wear during my nursing shifts. Hopefully there will be more color options in the future. I wear an 8 wide. Read more
Excellent walking shoe with slightly higher drop than my hokas. Really nice wide toe box so I did not require a wide in size. Read more
Large toebox as advertised. Bought wide to be sure. I recently started having toe issues, apparently because they were cramped. I also learned that our feet and toes widen and spread as we age. Topos are the solution! Bought 2 others :-) Very comfortable. EDITED: Replaced insoles with Zove Insoles which fit perfectly - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FK4VNDDS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. Initial review said Powerstep Wide Insoles but these are not wide enough for wide toebox shoes. Powerstep Pinnacle Wide Inserts for better arch support (high arches) and more cushioning. Read more
I love how wide they are, but your toe hits the front of the shoe and makes it hurt when you abruptly stop running or slow in pace. I used these to transition to barefoot shoes, but should’ve just went straight to barefoot. Good shoes, just over priced. I ran multiple 5ks in them. Read more
I loved the Altras until the latest models as they ruined them. Gal at store told me that I'd like Topos since I liked the old Altras. I'm Soo happy to have found them. I have Charcot Tooth Disease and finding a shoe that keeps my feet comfy for even a few hours is impossible. I love them. Perfect toe box, stability and comfort. I did size to 9.5 when usually wear 9. Worth a try if you have feet issues! Read more
I do t recommend buying these as they send you items that are defective and have been returned to them. I returned my first pair and was told where I returned how to tell when an item you received was returned for a defect. My new pair or so I thought new pair also came defective with the label. Not worth returning if I’m never going to receive a brand new pair which the price reflects. Read more
A perfect plush shoe for easy miles or recovery runs. My first topo shoe and what a hit. Wore it right out of the box and it quickly became my go-to shoe. I find it difficult to run in my asics now due to the toe box being so small. I have a narrow foot and found altras to be too wide for my feet the Phantom 4 is snug and roomy in all the right places. My usual shoe size is 9.5 and running shoes are 10.5 I would say they fit true to size BUT due to the roomy toe box you may be able to size down if you up size for running shoes like me. I do have a little amount of heel slippage on my right foot but that is not unusual for me and the runners loop fixed me right up. I've provided some pictures if you're curious about the fit. My foot traced on paper has a length of 27 cm. I hope you give them a try, you won't regret it! I hope to try more Topos in the future and will review when I do! Happy running. Read more
I was recommended these by a running store. They felt okay to run in they just weren’t for me. I’m in PA. My feet were on fire, as in hot. These do not get any air flow and my feet were instantly hot and it just got worse making them uncomfortable. Read more
