3 star product at 5 star price...
3 star product at 5 star price; I use 5x8 pads every day and the best were the former Ampad "retro" antique ivory, but at 20 bucks for a pack of 12 pads vs these TOPS ones at under 7 bucks, these TOPS ones are a great daily use paper. Yes, backing is thinner but with only a little effort I could write decently while hand held (if I wanted to). Saw some comments on wrinkled pages; I pulled 10 of 12 pads out of the package and flipped through them; found only 1 sheet out of 500 sheets that was slightly wrinkled. They could save a few cents and use less ink (I prefer light lines, not too dark) but these aren't too bad either. Overall a good choice vs around twice the money for most other "everyday" 15-16 lb choices. I've added these to my Desk Supplies wish list for future purchase again, if the price holds. I have used these note pads for many years and the size (5 x8) is perfect for filing. Note pad paper thickness I find to be acceptable for my use. Also the price for this package of 12 was less than I had expected, based on my other purchases at retail office supply stores Read more
