I am a fountain pen collector and write with them on a daily basis. I have lots of experience with paper, as fountain pens force you to be quite a bit more conscious of bleeding and feathering. For as thin as this paper is, it performs quite well. It does get some bleed through, but not often and only with certain inks. Compared to the price of most paper I buy (between $10 and $40 per notebooks), this is pretty awesome performance for the price. For me, there is something that I just don't like about it. This shouldn't sway your opinion, because it really comes down to preference. I think the paper is so thin that it feels a little too smooth, and then you flip it and it gets pretty crinkly. This bugs me, but probably will not bother anyone that has not had extensive experience in paper. Read more

This is the first notepad I've used that actually always tore along the perforations. Usually the whole pad will rip apart but in this case they work just fine. I've probably used two million of these for my math classes and my handwriting is illegible but the paper is fine. Read more
