I bought this for the 4th of July to lite fireworks and it worked almost too good. Crazy unrelated story but it was dark and late and I lit the thing faced backward. I randomly burnt myself on a patch of psoriasis that was about the size of a silver dollar because of it. Somehow, randomly, that spot I burnt that was a rash for the past year healed after the terrible burn. Maybe this is meant to heal rashes too? 😂😂😂. Obviously if you try this you need mental help and I am not a doctor and this isn’t medical advise at all, just a strange thing that happens. With it warming up, we have been doing more campfires in our backyard, and I wanted a better lighter than a little Bic to get it going, so I picked this up. It came packaged just fine with no defects that I could see. Getting it out, I added some butane to it and got to burning. It lets me keep my hands away from the starter I was using, and it lit it right up. All in all, this is a great fire starter, and I like it. Read more

This refillable butane torch lighter from VVAY is great quality. It isn't "mini" by any means and the dimensions in the picture are accurate and not in the the text description, it is a little over 6.5 inches long. It has a bit of a hefty solid weight to it as the housing is made of a zinc alloy that is finished in a matte gold color with a polished mirror golden trigger button. Using it is pretty standard with the butane refilling port on the bottom side which is easy to refill. On the side opposite the trigger there is an adjustable slider to adjust the flame size. Right above the trigger button is a safety switch which prevents the button from being pressed while it is locked. The handles are a carbon fiber style design made of plastic. Overall, this is a pretty large enough torch that you won't misplace it but barely small enough to fit into a pocket without falling out. It has a premium looking design with the colors and carbon fiber look and the metal button feels really good to push down on and it works just how you expect it to. Read more

Are you supposed to use it upright only? What about lighting candles? Tried to light up horizontally and slightly tip down (deep candle wick) and the flame significantly increased (gas started to leak, I suspect). It is not suitable for candles. Scary. Otherwise, works like a torch. Read more
