I was after a cheap small microwave. This microwave saved me a fair bit of counter space from the previous one that was here. What I didn't expect is that it is my favorite microwave ever. Down sides - it's small (positive for me) it is lower watts so longer cook times, and the display is bright. Up sides - The beep can be disabled and the display toggled. The instruction manual was worth skimming for codes for options, other than that everything was intuitive. Using this microwave is awesome. No beeps at all once disabled. It just shuts off when done. The display can be toggled off by pressing the stop button. And when you press a number key by default it does that many minutes saving a button press. Of course the start button adds 30s making it easy to quickly get to a time. I wanted a cheap space saving one, but to my surprise found my favorite microwave. Read more

This is a really nice oven. It small, but will properly heat a frozen pot pie. Easy to use, good instructions. I like it very much. My only complaint is that the wheeled ring that supports the glass turntable is a bit flimsy and light and if you are not careful about place things on the turntable or removing them the turntable slides of the ring. This becomes a problem if you cannot stand to see the ring and turntable to get it positioned properly. Read more

I bought this microwave almost 6 months ago, and my family and I love it. It heats so evenly and reliably, is ridiculously simple to use, and has a lot of space inside for large dishes. Also, we love that the finish beep is way less annoying than other microwaves, AND it can be muted altogether if you still just don’t want to wake anyone up while you’re midnight snacking. This relatively inexpensive microwave was bought to replace a much more expensive microwave that, honestly, didn’t perform as well (and died way too soon). I read a lot of reviews on both Amazon and websites that tested it against other microwaves before I was comfortable picking this one. I was honestly surprised at how much Toshiba, of all brands, came out in the lead when it came to microwaves. So, I took a chance and made this purchase with my fingers crossed. My kids and husband actually laughed when this showed up, and there were a lot of South Park Toshiba Handybook references (IYKYK). We even dubbed the new microwave the “Toshiba Handybox.” All laughs aside, the “Toshiba Handybox” is out here killing’ it. This is easily the best microwave we’ve bought, especially for the price. nice microwave ; I replaced my old microwave with this and glad about it. I worried it might be too small to hold dinner plate size things because my old 700 watt one didn't have quite enough room with a big plate but this one has a larger turntable than my old one did. Plus this is 900 watts so it's a move up for me. Looks nice on the counter. Read more
