Drive in my Inspiron 15-5555 was failing, so I ordered this as an exact replacement. Cloned the old drive onto this drive and installed in the laptop. Easy swap out and the system runs like new again for a low price. Exactly what I was hoping for. Read more

My advice is not to buy from these sellers - I ordered a 2.5 " hard drive and the computer could not see it - I tried different computer and the drive would come up in any way. So I sent it back and they sent me another one. The second one was dirty with smeared stuff and fingerprints all over it. It did not work either - I could hear it spin up then a click and it was dead - over and over. Both these hard drives come without an antistatic bag. Read more
