Seems powerful but sucks a lot of air into the room

First time using portable AC. Cooling a small, insulated room in a metal building. First observation: it really pumps out a lot of very warm exhaust. That’s a good sign. However it must be pulling external (warm) air into the room through every gap/ opening. So it is working hard to cool the space. I think it would do better cooling a room inside the home. Read more

Loud and inconsistent cooling in sleep mode

It cools well, but is VERY loud. I got used to it after a few nights, but I do wake up here and these when it goes off and on. Sleep mode is kind of useless, as it just shuts off for long periods at night even when it is well above the set temperature in the room. I did expect a much better product at this price point.
