I normally wear a M but originally purchased a L because I was going to wear over clothing and I prefer loose fitting. L size was way to big so I purchased M and the fitting was perfect. The fabric is smooth and has just enough stretch to move comfortably without feeling tight. When I wear it over a tank top in early fall mornings, it feels cozy but not heavy. It is not the kind of thick sweatshirt you would wear in winter, but for slightly cool weather, it works really well. I also like that the fabric feels gentle on my skin, even when I wear it directly without another layer underneath. The color looks true to what I saw online, and the length hits just right at the waist. The zipper works smoothly, and the pockets on the sides are a nice touch for keeping small things like keys or lip balm. The shape holds up well and has a soft drape that flatters the shoulders.
