This might be ok as a purse, but it doesn’t make a great bag for the gym. It’s very floppy. I do like that it has several different compartments and pockets. It’s cute, but it’s too soft and caves in on everything so easily and that’s a little annoying. Read more

Overall, this bag is nice. But if you're looking for a gym bag to hold your yoga mat, this probably isn't it. We got this bag so that my wife could use it as a gym bag, as she often has yoga or PiYo. She recently got a nice new mat and was excited for this new bag. First, the pros: - Quality materials - Strong handles - Yoga mat strap on top. Be aware the yoga strap is tucked away in a top zipper pocket and must be attached separately. It took us a while to find it. - It has two large compartments inside, along with a few other smaller convenient pockets that'd be perfect for keys, headbands, snacks, a small water bottle, a small towel, and other small items. - There is a large water bottle pocket on the outside that works great for larger water bottles. The Cons: - There is a water bottle pocket on the inside, but it won't hold a very big water bottle. And if you are going to the gym and are like us, you want a big water bottle. - When holding a yoga mat, the bag kind of just crumples. The picture in the listing shows the yoga mat sitting lightly on top, but in the real world, the sides start to fold in and it just doesn't look nice. My wife said this would actually make a great diaper bag if you don't want to carry around one of the backpack ones, but unfortunately, it doesn't make the cut for the new gym bag, which is what we were looking for.
