What a fabulous travel umbrella. I love the blue color outside (most of them are black) and its wonderful to have the pretty flowers for me to look at while walking in the rain. Note: the umbrella will only lock in its open position when you press the button and allow it to spring open and lock on its own. If you try to open it yourself, it will not lock. Read more

Its been a while i have this umbrella now. Overall quality is good. For the given price , i am glad that this lasted me for a while. Although some of the branches rods are broken now, i still use this. And one thing that i dont like about this umbrella is the thread thing that holds the umbrella open. I’m leaving my first review. When this umbrella is open it doesn’t click to lock into expansion mode. I have yet to use it but it seems like once the weight of rainfall hits the opened umbrella the plastic coverage will get more flimsy and buckle. I don’t know if the lack of tautness is meant to make the umbrella windproof, but as it stands it seems like a manufacturing error. I would not recommend this umbrella. Seems like a piece of junk. I don’t have the patience to return it so I’m keeping it but I will be buying another one of a different brand. Read more

I needed another small umbrella to keep in my car after the spokes on the last one were damaged. So, having had a good experience with Totes' umbrellas in the past, I was happy to find this one online--and at a good price. I chose one which has a solid black exterior but a colorful pattern on the underside, which is what one sees when walking in the rain--a pick-me-up! It's compact; has an auto open/close button, which works smoothly; and a velcro fastener to use to tightly wrap & close up the umbrella fabric for storage (although I don't always do so). Overall, I'm extremely pleased with my purchase & got a second one as a backup or gift. Read more
