Nothing better than a push button, especially when youre trying to move fast with only one free hand. I originally bought a Totes many many years ago because I wanted a fold-up half the length of the normal that i could throw in my purse. Tho the 8" is now sold by several others I just went back to the source that's kept me happy for so long when mine played a disappearing act. I have bought Totes for years and wouldn't buy anything else. I liked this umbrella because when folded it is short enough to lie flat inside a backpack. Others are a little longer when folded and don't fit as well. Very sturdy, and I like the button-touch umbrella open and close. I don't go anywhere without an umbrella in my backpack or string back, and this Totes works perfectly for me. It did a good job on my winter trip to rainy and windy London.
