Received my bidet 3 days before scheduled delivery, so that was awesome. I installed it, only needing what was recommended. I followed the online video instruction option, and it was easy and nice to be able to zoom in and see the actual parts. The manual has a lot of info in it, but nothing hard to understand or follow regarding settings and cleaning of the bidet. It fit well to my toilet. Doesn’t wiggle, and is sturdy when I sit on it. You do hear it when it’s getting ready and after you're done when it’s cleaning itself, but nothing too loud or distracting. Try everything on the lowest setting so you’re not surprised by pressure or temp! Ladies, that goes for you especially with the front washing. It scared me, and water sprayed lol. I do have to slightly lean forward to get it to the right area on front wash— don’t know if it’s me or just a learning curve for now. Rear wash is good. The dryer is nice, just a light tap with tp after. Good for women with sensitive skin or that get irritated with wiping. I like the warm water, especially in NY. The warm toilet is a great touch too. It’s a great price and a great product— go for it!!! Read more

A top quality bidet with all the key features (seat warmer, pre-mister, warm sprays, deodorizer, warm dryer, night light). If you don't like a default, you have to navigate the lengthy user manual, but it's fairly easy to understand. Perhaps the most useful reprogram is the night light, since the 12-hour timer starts when it's first plugged in. Weight keeps going down, so easier to install, but durability may become a concern long-term. Things that could be better but don't affect the rating: Top lid closes too slowly. Too much dampening. Key pad mount seems a bit fragile. Concerned how it'll handle someone accidentally leaning on it. Typical top-tier bidet concern of very many moving parts, nozzles, and features. Unsure how long this will last, especially with our harder water, although they try to counter this. Read more

I see that this is a new model which incorporated some features that trickled down from the S lineup from Toto, so I had to jump at the opportunity, having owned a C2 washlet I got from Costco when they had those available. I like the C2 but wish there were things that would be different, and this S2 seems to solve some chief complaints about the C2. The key for me is having an attached control panel. I don't like remotes that will need batteries and a place to store when not in use without losing it, since I have kids in the house. I have the C2 and now this S2 for this reason. On initial impressions, one thing I notice about the controls right away are the costs savings that went into the panel, which immediately feels less sturdy than what was on the C2. As long as it holds up over time, I think it's a good sacrifice in order to have other functions from the S line here while keeping costs low, so I'm not going to fault the user experience there too much. On paper, the S2 here fixes many things from the C2: - One-piece seamless seat for easier cleaning. I hated the seat from C2 due to its seam, which was hard to clean, even with a brush. So having single piece now is nice. Should just be standard on all models, so 1 star off for making you pay for such a low hanging fruit. - Constant hot water, while not a deal breaker on C2, the S lineup always had constant hot water, so it's nice having that now. While those two items were key upgrades, the S2 brought along additional benefits of its own: - Improved active deodorizer, which the C2 also had a deodorizer, it didn't have the charcoal filter nor controls to turn on the fan to help. And while the C2 did a good job with odor compared to not having anything, this is a noticable difference with odor elimination. - Night light, which helps at night, and comes in handy for middle of the night needs. A welcomed addition but not avaolutely needed. Keep in mind, however, the night light function isn't on my default, so digging through the manual helped a bit, but still confusing. Essentially, to turn on the night light function, you'd hold down the Stop button for 10 seconds to get flashing lights on all the buttons, then press Pressure - negative key to cycle 3 modes indicated by the leaf light to the right: Off, On, Blinking for Timer, with timer being my preferred choice. The manual doesn't say, but essentially the exact time you set the timer is when the washlet will turn on 12 hours and off again. Say, if you program at 7pm, that's when it'll set the timer, so if you need to reprogram another time, just do so at the time of your choosing (i.e.: 10pm). Confusing, but just know it has the night light function and that's how to get it to work. So far, I like this more than the C2, but I will keep both in the house for two toilets both of which are Toto elongated. I have installed the C2 on a round toilet from another brand and it worked as well, just not optimal, but die to the installation interface, these work on a wide variety of toilets. As a whole, I think Toto makes high quality products but their lineups are confusing, whether or not intentional, and they could do a better job of marketing appropriately why you would pay more as you go through their lineup, and what benefits/features you're getting. I see that they would add things here, remove features there, take this away here, etc... in order to keep costs down, but it can get confusing for consumers not well versed in their marketing. For example, premist is a feature on the older C2, but it's not present on newer models unless you looks for it, and this S2 does have it. Confusing. The key is that this S2 has all the features I need at a reasonable price, I just hope it lasts as well as their name would suggest, based on my experience using their products. Read more
