My child's school set a requirement for each child to have a thermometer, so we decided to try this one. The device is very easy to use, with just a quick trigger pull aimed at the forehead for a reading. It's easy to change between Celcius and Fahrenheit (don't see doing this often, but it's a nice feature), and I like that the screen changes colors for an immediate response of healthy/low fever/high fever - I haven't seen this function in action since my kids are healthy (thank g-d) but again, it's a nice feature. Smaller than it looked, which is a good thing. The response time is near-instant. Point it at the forehead or any other part of the skin and you get a reading in ~1 second.
