These Black, lightweight, thick and sleek look gloves worked very well in North Carolina snow. There was not a ton of snow so there wasn't a lot of playing in the snow. However my husband did wear them snowboarding, his hands stayed protected, dry and warm for the couple hours he was out. He has another pair, different brand, that are a little bit thinner and they soak through. He and my daughter have gone through many different brands to try and find ones that will actually keep hands dry and warm in the snow. He was very happy with these. They are true to size. I did read that the gloves were a bit smaller than what the size states! And yes they are. I believe It is the inner lining, which is the problem. As far as keeping hands warm for skiing, excellent!.
