I went straight home and I ordered these belts, because I wanted some definition around my waistline. While well-intended, often clothing that hangs on us shapelessly actually adds years to our appearance, ageing our look prematurely, and makes us look tired and forlorn. These belts pull the outfit in, and give your silhouette the hourglass shape that a human female should have. If for some reason that shape is not currently tenable, you can use these belts with some layering of clothing and other textile items to create the look. I have these belts now in tan, brown, black and navy blue. They are comfortable, but admittedly, being wide, the metal buckle is inflexible so if you are of short stature you might have to discreetly take it off if you have to sit down for a long period.
