I bought the plugs for my TVs so I can turn it ON/OFF just using the app on my phone. Once I have a smart plug at home, I want to have it for everything. I connected it with my coffee maker, lamps, computers,TVs and heater. The Tapo APP offers scheduling your devices not only just on and off. The design is cute and nifty. The setups are pretty easy and straightforward.You can also control this plug ON/OFF with your Alexa or Google voice command. Pros: Cute design Easy to set up Control your device remotely Cheap Cons: The size is not suitable for my wall outlet but it’s OK. I won’t use two at the same time. these tapo smart plugs seem to work just fine. easy to program and use. connected to wifi and alexa very easy. only thing is these are listed as smart plug "Mini". mini they are not. i assumed when they were listed as mini they would not cover the second plugin. these smart plugs are to large, when plugged into an outlet it covers the second plugin enough that you cannot get another cord plugged in. they should be made just a little smaller in size. Yesterday I wrote a "glowing" report on the product - love it! But because I made a mistake and purchased a service ($84 through the app and $104 on line) thinking I needed due to a trial date and asked for a refund I and nicely received they have turned off my ability to use their service. I will not give my true feelings, but say I am sorry that such a great product would act in such a manor and will be contacting both Amazon and Best Buy (where I was introduced) and returning the product. Reviewing the product after a month of usage. I got Tapo plug to experiment smart devices. I am impressed by the sleek design which did not block the nearby switch port. The installation and linking with the Tapo App was pretty simple and easy to follow. I was able to sync the device with different smart voice assistants such as Google Home and Alexa. Works pretty smooth. Device sharing would help when you have some common devices that needs sharing with your house mates. CONS: Tapo Tp Link devices does not link with TP Link Kasa devices so it has a separate App. Also I could not find any widget for IOS that will help in controlling the devices from my home screen. This product performed as expected. After the first setup, all others were a piece of cake. I actually have 6 smartplugs now, all Tapo. I can't imagine life without them anymore and Tapo makes some of the best. The only thing left on my wishlist was to have "flatter" smartplugs. I have a canister in my kitchen that sits on the cabinet in front of the plug. I can't push it back as flush as I used to be able to do. As technology progresses, I'm sure this will happen. Read more

They work great and are easy to set up. Problem is the plug is too big and you cannot plug another device into the same outlet, due to the Tapo covering up the other outlet. Very frustrating. Ended up going with the Kasa product for the switches and those have a great form factor and work great. A tiny bit more difficult to connect up, but worth it to have the extra outlet back. Read more

My friend sent me a Amazon Alexa , so I bought these wifi plug and turn into a smart outlet. I was surprised how easy it was to set up this device. It only took me couple minutes to get all the smart plugs set up and working with Alexa. The app also allows you to set the plugs on a timer or manually operate them. Highly recommend this product.
