Thankfully it's the former. It honestly looks handmade. It's got a nice weathered finish. It looks like barbwire, but there are zero sharp edges. I got this for myself. I had hoped that I could bend it to fit tighter on my wrist, but it is very thick and I could not bend it. Also, although it is fake wire, it is a little sharp. This is a unique bracelet for sure with the "thorn" design, to me it is more of a barbed wire feel to it then thorns. It was easy to adjust so it wasn't so loose and has stayed where I have adjusted it too. I haven't had any part of my wrist turning green or anything like that. Very cool looking bracelet/cuff style. Durable and sturdy. It's not going to bend on you. Great punk/rock & roll look. Not a cheap looking material. The barb wires won't break off if they get hit. It is reasonably well made, but I’m positive that it is not titanium. The description is more than vague, it is comical. It is described as titanium, titanium steel, no metal type, and magnetic. It is, in fact, NOT magnetic. If it is steel, it is one of the non-magnetic stainless steels. And steel or titanium, it is very, very soft. I could manipulate it to make it a bit smaller by simply squeezing with a few fingers. Overall I would consider this to be a novelty item, nothing more. Certainly not quality jewelry.
