This is a great set with a variety sizes, very sharp and serrated. Great for cutting vegetables and especially great on tomatoes. I have a set of Tramontina knives that I have been using for about 15 years. They are still sharp and have never needed sharpening. I bought this set so I would have a set in another location. My mom has had a Tramontina knife for over 20 years and it's still her best knife (seriously). I was so excited to find these because they aren't sold in any stores near me and I could never find them online when I looked. So of course I was ecstatic when I found these for such a great price. Nice and sharp and they will LAST. Buy them if you're looking for a great knife set for your kitchen, they'd also make a great gift for someone just moving into their first place. I also have a Tramontina oversized skillet and the quality of their products is evident with it as well! And no, I'm not a paid spokesperson, I just love their stuff! Read more

I am not very fond of cooking and chopping vegetables but it is an essential part of the life. I have first introduced about this knife in a hotel. When I used that I really felt great, a perfect knife who made me love to chop the vegetables and fruits in very precise manner. I found the brand on amazon and immediately bought it. This is my favorite knife and I use it daily. I introduced this knife to my friends and relatives too. I liked it and its been approximately 1 year I am using it. Wife (LOL) was skeptical on opening package, seeing all were serrerated edge. Then tried one. Love @ first slice is best way of putting it.
