We recently bought our TT from Costco and needed the coffee table to match it and for storage of the table leaves. We saw it on Amazon and decided to pull the trigger. We have read reviews everywhere warning about the customer service but honestly, we have had EXCELLENT customer service. TT arrived on time, no damage to the boxes or anything. The third party movers are ok... they arrived earlier than theyre supposed to and basically didn't allow any change in time so had to rush home to meet them. Nonetheless, the table is packed VERY well and I can attest that the wood is VERY SOLID and BEAUTIFUL. Yes, it is hardwood so if something harder hits it, it'll dent but we are still impressed by the quality of the product and the customer service. They reached out via Amazon message and made sure that everything was on time and perfect. They were also nice enough to adjust the price when the price changed the following week after we ordered. Overall, GREAT CUSTOMER AND GREAT PRODUCT despite many reviews. If you're ordering this, then you know why you want a TT. We bought a transformer table a few years ago and were storing the panels in a closet that always made it awkward to store/retrieve. So, we recently caved and bought this coffee table for panel storage. It works and makes it very easy to (dis)assemble our main table. One note is that our table arrived damaged. A couple panels were lightly scratched and had dented corners. I reached out to the company directly and they promptly asked for details about which pieces were damaged and sent replacements (and a gift card for my inconvenience). The replacement panels came in the wrong color, so I ended up assembling the damaged pieces in the original table and we can live with it. It took a couple weeks for the replacement parts, so we had an unboxed dis-assembled table strewn about our living room for a while before the parts came. I'm sure the company would send new replacement parts if we contacted again, but we're happy with how things ended up. Quality - Solid construction. - Corners are 90 degrees, so it's not a great table for toddlers. - Hardware is very sturdy and easy to open/close the table top. Customer Service - Excellent. Usage - Panel storage is plenty. Even if you don't have a transformer table, there's a ton of storage in this. - We frequently lift the table top which makes a great desk-height surface over our couch for short laptop work sessions. - Big enough for small/medium board and tabletop games. Do not hesitate for a second to buy this table because the quality is exceptional. Additionally, a couple of minor issues during delivery was immediately taken care of. All in all, it's maid of solid material and high end design combined with unparallel customer service. However, know that this table is specifically designed so extra leaves of the matching dining table fit inside it. Read more
