Great containers, but the lotion seems to dry out with time. I bought these for travel only so I don't mind. Containers are as pictured and are easy to open. Mine did not leak on my 7 hour flight. Read more

These 2oz silicone travel jars work great for liquids and creams. Here's what I learned after testing them: First-Time Prep: 1. Wash with warm soapy water before first use 2. Rinse thoroughly - silicone can retain soap smell if not rinsed well 3. Air dry completely or towel dry inside and out 4. Lids seal better when both surfaces are completely dry Filling Tips for Different Products: Lotions/Creams: Fill to about 90% capacity to allow for expansion. Use a small spatula or spoon to transfer thick products. Squeeze air out before closing lid. Liquids (shampoo/conditioner): Fill through wide opening, leave 1/4 inch headspace. Wipe rim clean before sealing to prevent leaks. Store upright in toiletry bag. Thick products (hair gel, styling cream): Warm jar slightly with hands to make silicone more flexible for easier filling and dispensing. Leak Testing: Filled one with water, sealed lid, shook vigorously, then stored upside-down for 24 hours. Zero leaks. The screw-on lid creates a tight seal when properly closed. Important: Thread lid fully - partial threading will leak. TSA Compliance: 2oz (60ml) size is perfect for TSA carry-on rules. Fits easily in quart-size bag. Silicone is flexible so doesn't take up rigid space like hard plastic bottles. Durability: Silicone is tear-resistant and doesn't crack like plastic. Survived being squished at bottom of backpack. No permanent deformation - returns to original shape. Temperature tested from 40°F (cold car) to 100°F (hot bathroom) with no issues. Cleaning: Easy to clean - turn inside-out for thorough washing. Dishwasher safe but I hand-wash to extend life. Doesn't retain odors or stains from products I've tested (lotion, conditioner, sunscreen). Label System: Lids are smooth - I used permanent marker directly on lid top to label contents. Can also use small sticker labels. Silicone surface isn't ideal for adhesive but top of lid works. What Fits Well: - Face moisturizer - Shampoo/conditioner - Body lotion - Sunscreen - Hair styling products - Foundation/BB cream Not Ideal For: - Very thin liquids (oil-based products may seep) - Powders (wide opening makes dispensing messy) Value: Good price for reusable containers. Much better than disposable travel bottles. Read more
