I have been searching for a pill organizer like this for some time now. I take a lot of supplements and medications, and the traditional "M, T, W, T, F, S" organizers barely have any room in them and they always pop open if you put them in your purse or bag. I know a lot of pill organizers are made and marketed to an "older" generation that doesn't need to technically carry their pills around, but I think that's a huge mistake. People are getting healthier, getting more active despite their age, and many people like myself (I'm in my late 20's) often either have pills they will have to take for chronic illnesses or they really enjoy the benefit of various supplements. Unfortunately, it's SO hard to find an organizer that gives you any room at all, especially for a pill the size of a fish oil gelcap, for example. Since I work 5 days a week, I need something to take my pills with me! I bought this organizer because for one, it's waterproof and prevents "steaming" and ruining your pills. The "liner" that prevents any water getting in is very Two, the compartments are HUGE and hold plenty of room for everything I need. Three, even though it's roomy, it's so small and portable. I carry it with no trouble and I don't have to worry about it bulking up my purse. Four, it's SECURE! I keep mine in my backpack - I work on a college campus, and it's easier on my back to carry an ergonomic backpack, rather than a purse. I keep EVERYTHING in my backpack, including my laptop, mouse, mouse pad, soda bottles, hair brush, mousse, hairspray and my makeup bag, and this pill container has never ONCE opened or even loosened despite all of the items I carry. I am buying a second as we speak, so that I can carry more vitamins and supplements with me to work. I work long hours and can only take my pills on a full stomach, so having a secure, small, portable pill organizer is essential, and it's been so nice to have! They haven't paid me anything for this review, and I didn't receive any discounts or coupons. Since it took me a while to find a pill organizer like this, I wanted to give them the positive feedback that they deserve, because this organizer is so nice to have for people who take multiple medications. Side note! You can buy labels for your organizer, to put over the compartments, but I chose to just write the names in permanent marker. Whenever I have needed to change the name, I just take a damp rag, wipe the name off the plastic, and relabel it. I just received my Pillsteer traveling pill and vitamin organizer. While I haven’t used it yet, (I will in a week or two when I travel to Colorado to experience the birth of my granddaughter). I can say with certainty, that this case is well made, quite sturdy and will undoubtedly hold my pills and supplements safely and securely. The eight compartments each offer more than enough space to hold the largest of capsules or tablets. Each compartment has its own lid that snaps shut securely - Yay!!! I brought this item for my husband who takes several types of vitamins and needed some organization. This is very sturdy and durable, I haven't had the opportunity to see if it's water-proof. But my husband loves it and it helps with the stickers that I could write info for how and when he should take certain vitamins. The only thing is, I didn't realize how small it would be because as you can see from the picture, his vitamins are big and I could only get a few in at a time, but I had to realize it did say travel size. We still love it mainly for the sturdiness and we do like the compact sizing as it can fit easily into his work bag and not take up a lot of space. It easily opens and closes firmly. This product is of good quality - the individual boxes latch well and don't come undone by themselves. It is very compact for traveling. I would say it is just smaller than the pictures made it seem (to my perception!). I don't have medication pills, I have supplements that I use it for, so many of my supplements are larger in size than many medication pills. Having said that, pertaining to the compartment designed for ampules - I really don't sincerely know how many ampules would actually fit in there - it's pretty small! While I wish it were a little bit larger in size overall, it still held more of my supplements that I ever thought it would from just looking at it. This is my second Pillsteer product of the exact same design. I purchased one on March 25th 2019. The hinge finally gave way but I do like the product. It meets my particular pill requirements so I ordered a new one. I like the design and it travels well. I like the way the compartments hold the pills. I've never had a spill! I would only say it would be nice to have a deeper compartment for one over the counter liquid gel I take, Aleve. Not many fit in this case because of their size. Read more
I love this case! Has multiple size compartments, love the size, thought it looked bigger but bought it anyways. So glad I did. It's about the size of my hand. (Glove size lg W) I bought it for my "just in case gear" will hold lots of pills , tweezers, bandaid, etc. Ran it under water for a bit and it was dry on the inside. Have not run it down a river yet, but so far Id consider it to be waterproof. It operates very smoothly and seems quite sturdy and well made. Glad I purchased it. Read more
