These toiletry bags are just the eight size and hold all personal items easily and safely. These were purchased as graduation gifts. The girls travel and outdoor enjoy often, so perfect. This past summer we used ours to pack into camp sites and hotels. The outside zipper allows for clean undergarments and socks for the next travel day. Travel light and travel prepared. The time came when I had to move my recently widowed 94-year-old Mom into an assisted living facility, which is a 7-hour road trip away from where I reside, which means I'll be calling a hotel my home whenever I visit her - SO - I needed to find a new "portable toiletry cabinet" for these trips, because the one I usually use for pleasure travel/vacations is smaller and just won't get the job done in this situation . . . so I spent a good amount of time on Amazon researching their huge selection of toiletry bags, and am VERY GLAD I found this excellent one !...it's VERY well-designed and VERY WELL MADE, with quality fabric and zippers, a great rotating hanging hook which makes where it gets hung much easier, and SOOOO much room for everything I was hoping to bring with me & then some !...the three elastic-topped mesh pockets in the back of the main compartment are very helpful because they act as a kind of "back-up" that the (larger) items I put in front of them lean against them and stand up straight & don't fall over...and the front zippered mesh pocket is nice and flexible, even a bit "stretchy", so it holds more than I thought it would (yay !) - so yes, I did find the "portable toiletry cabinet" I was looking for, thanks to this winner . . . If you travel and stay at different hotels/cabins, this is a handy thing to have it wraps up nice so it is not bulky at all. It feels like it is made well and has lasted us many trips. It just hangs on a towel rack or door knob and you can keep your tooth brushes and other toiletries off the sink countertop. I like the room that the bag affords. I was looking at numerous different toiletry bags, and one of the reasons I bought this one is the height of the inside. Unfortunately, it seemed to be all for naught, because my shampoo/soap bottles always tip over. Another problem I have is the zippers for the main compartment are too small and are often difficult to zip/unzip from the maximum unzipped position. This wouldn't be as much of an issue if the teeth and zipper were more course, i.e. larger. As it is, I'm always worried about ripping the zipper off the "tracks," if I'm too forceful. Additionally, I'd be nice if there were some adjustable slots to help keep everything tidy. Thicker fabric would be nice, too. And while the mesh pocket is nice for storing scrubbers and loofahs, something like that should probably be on the exterior, still with the zipper, but maybe with the addition of a Velcro/hook-and-loop flap.
