When I received this, I was quite surprised at the quality, and the photos on the website don't do it justice! This service is not only beautiful, but looks to be durable. I almost nicked myself, putting the knife back into it's sheath. Let me tell you, that little puppy is very sharp! For that reason, I recommend parents, please be careful about purchasing this flatware set for school age children younger than middle school. The knife is VERY sharp, and has to be handled carefully. I think this set is a great value, and makes a terrific set, to take with one to work packed lunch. These make incredible gifts. I love them. They are so practical, good looking, excellent quality and so affordable. They make an awesome presentation and when we join others for dinner, we can see that they’d be a perfect fit. I like the variety of colors. Bought two sets of these for me and my husband to use at work. We didn't like using plastic silverware all the time and we sometimes forgot to pack silverware in our lunch boxes. This set stays at work with me and has just about everything I need. I added a grapefruit spoon from home to the set because I eat grapefruit frequently. There was room in the case for the grapefruit spoon. I doubled it up with another utensil. My husband keeps his set in the backpack he takes to work. I gave these as Christmas/holiday gifts to my camping friends. When we go camping, one person brings the stove, etc, and we have to bring our own utensils. Love this reusable cutlery set as it includes many little extras that other suppliers do not include. I love the fact that a very sharp knife that also has a sheeth protecting it is included, along with Chopsticks & salt and pepper shakers! If there's anything to "complain" about, it would be that the larger spoon is not a tablespoon. That is actually quite disappointing as my old set had both the teaspoon and the tablespoon. It would have been great had the company offered different colors for the outside case that holds the utensils cuz gray is such a dull color! I'm very impressed with the choice of colors and the many pieces to the entire set. The cost is wonderful. The travel case is so cool. Plus you've added the straw cleaner and the salt & Pepper Set.
